How do i make sure that i get the bird toys, as pictured, and not one of the other substitutes toys? i already got an order of three with nary a bird.

Sorry to tell you, but I ordered a mouse according to the picture and got an entirely different "ratty" looking one. Some people misrepresent what they are selling with a bogus picture.

how do I fill madcap mouse. Cannot find an opening

There is a velcro closure on the underside of the mouse. Sometimes, it can be really difficult to pull it apart the first time you open it.

The OG "mousie"

So originally I could get these at Walmart. This "mousie" was one of the first toys my cat ever had, and he's deeply attached to it. It's threadbare and ripped to pieces. I got a few replacements before moving and he always loves them (I give him one at a time). But during the move we lost one, and the other one I gave him disappered into the ether I guess. So I bought these as replacements. It's the same product, he's the same happy.
