Parece que solucionó nuestro problema de cavitación. Sin embargo, poco después de instalarlo y ponerlo en marcha, nos robaron el bote auxiliar, así que no tengo idea de cómo resiste el paso del tiempo. Ahora tenemos un motor eléctrico que no gira lo suficientemente rápido como para necesitar uno de estos. Pero, al menos, el motor es silencioso y la fauna no nos oye llegar.

Very nice tail
I had a whale tale version on my 20HP that broke. I find this one looks much nicer and planes the boat just as fast or faster than the other version. The fins on the back help keep the engine straight so the torque doesn't pull the tiller nearly as hard as the previous tail. I will put this tail on my outboards going forward.

Completely eliminated porpoising
Wow! What a difference. I just got a new 14 foot microskiff with a 15hp Yamaha. I could run the engine at full throttle when fishing alone because the bow would porpoise or bounce so bad. I installed this (easy install, 15 mins) and today I took the boat out. 100% solved the issue. The boat got on plane quickly and rode smooth. ZERO porpoise. Zero loss of top end speed. I'm a big guy...230 lbs...15 hp motor...23mph top end speed. No bouncing. Best product I've bought in a long time for my boat.
