Flunked an interview for a network engineer position, started reading/studying this book and I feel like a seasoned pro now (as far as theory and specs are concerned anyway). I'll be ready for that next interview. Lammle has been writing these study guides for years and I love his writing style. He writes in a very informal and conversational style and that makes reading this material fun and helps you relate to real world scenarios and applications. I'll edit this review depending on whether I pass the Network+ exam (just kidding).

Excellent study material
Good book. Very well defined and descriptive in nature. The author took very good care to put everything in a nutshell.

Learn OSI then think.
I owe a lot to Todd, not that he knows this.I took my Net+ on order of my manager whilst working at Pearson, over 10 years ago now, but for me was a catharsis. After A+, how can you really understand what is involved in running an enterprise network?Well, in truth this book really scared me. I needed to get a passing exam grade quickly as also needed to teach this to other people, so learnt it quickly. If you have ever had to learn something quickly you will understand the urgency and the need. I objectified the facts for the exam and with the knowledge of the OSI model managed to make this work for me. I then read the revision guide (an abridged version of this book), took several Measureup tests then took and aced the exam.I now swear by the OSI model.TTFNMatthew
