No regular blade in half is good.

Is this reusable? Why are there more than 2 pieces that fold?

Yes it is reusable. It comes with several replacement blades. Some of the folding pieces are how the blades are replaced. The main folding piece closes to conceal the blade, protecting the blade and the user when not in use.
