Retro cell phone that is fun and very functional!
My dad has needed a phone for some time now and he quite honestly cannot handle anything complicated. He just needs something he can use if he needs to make a phone call with and with him being older he needs something a bit larger. This is a true retro style phone which reminds me of the phone I had in the mid 90’s! The phone is unlocked and can work on almost any network (I have tried it on T Mobile but no others). Simply insert a prepaid sim card and you are off and running. The phone has a 4 gig memory and can be expanded up to 8 gig and has the basic features you would want in a phone. It has the ability to play MPS and Audio files with a earphone jack to listen to music or use for phone calls on. The large capacity phone book can hold up to 1000 phone numbers and will track the last 20 of your received, missed and dialed calls in the memory. Even though it is a retro style the phone is outfitted with Bluetooth technology so you can easily pair a set of earbuds or a speaker to the phone. It comes charger, battery, earbud and everything you need to get started you just need to provide your own SIM card. Call clarity is great which is a plus because my father is hard of hearing so I no longer have to yell at him on the phone to get him to hear me which makes me a very happy person.

Back to basics!
Enough is enough. I have crushed 4 smartphones in less than a year. I love smart phones but the iPhone are a joke that break if your pockets get to hot. The androids are much more durable and capable but a clumsy idiot like me still broke them. Last year I broke two more smartphones. I never take selfies and I have no Facebook account. I am going back to basics. Let's see if this one will break if it falls. I have doubts it will. I will review again when I have had it a bit longer. I hate myself too much to deserve another smartphone and I am clumsy.Addendum after 24 hours of owning:I love it! I do miss the smart functions of a smartphone, but this one I will not be breaking nor losing. The FM radio does not seem to work. It says on this page to attach the headphone to it. There is not headphone and there is no place to connect the radio. I guess the radio function is just a white noise generator. Other than that, the cellular phone is great! It is super loud, very durable, has real buttons, and a removable antenna which I up graded.48 hourI left the mini usb cable usb plugged into the cellular phone and tried the FM radio again. This time I received the FM broadcast signal. The usb cable as an antenna is rather touchy, but it works.Range, range, range! This brick has mega range with an aftermarket cellular antenna I put on it! Add that to the amazing battery life, we may have a low disaster bugout phone where cellular still works! Of course, in a high end disaster, cellular is the first to go. This is why the FM radio receiver is important. With the upgraded antenna I have service in places no smartphone could ever have! I keep the smaller antenna for city use. The telephone looks great with both antennas but has that satellite phone look with the extended antenna that is as long as long the cellular phone body itself. I love this phone!Entered the APN settings for T-Mobile and got 2G internet easily for this phone. I love it I will more than likely never get a fragile smartphone again.

The Phone looks good and I love the weight
The Phone looks good and I love the weight. I bought the phone hoping I could pair it with my I phone using Bluetooth but it only supports Bluetooth 2.0 and only supports some transfer of music and files. Also the volume control options go from super loud to louder than you smart phone as the lowest setting..... I think with just a few adjustments this would be an awesome phone.

Unable to make calls!
I wrote to you and you responded saying you wanted an elaborate explaination of the problem.I have inserted 2 SIM cards. Now the phone shows full signal strength but the display shown emergency calls only. I am unable to make or receive calls on both Sim1 and Sim2. As soon as I press the call button to make a call it says call ended. If anyone calls my number it says phone is switched off. Please assist.

Awesome phone & setup advice
This thing is awesome. It's big and clunky just like it should be. I bought the Sim4Globe sim card and it works great. One setup tip - when you put the sim card in and fire up the phone, set it somewhere where you normally have good cell reception. When I first turned mine on it went into 'searching' mode for a long time (looking for a carrier) and then I realized the metal roof on my house was causing a low cell signal - took the phone outside and it hooked up fine. There is a HUGE list of carriers the phone has to cycle through when looking for the local network, so be patient the first time you turn it on.

Looks great but without a connection it's just a
It won't work on T-Mobile 2G in my state because it doesn't support the 700 or 2100 frequency and thats all they use in many areas. Looks great but without a connection it's just a brick

First Item was misplaced in transit but I received it a few days later. Item was packaged properly, love the added sim attachments, clear and easy to set up. Its a little loud when turning on/off but my uncle love it as it is. Ordered another one today because everyone love the classic look. Thank you amazon.
