Protects the earpads from sweat. A bit over priced for the quality (thickness) of the product, but nevertheless does the job well.

I have had these Sweatz Covers for 2.5 to 3 months.Second, follow the manufacturer's (Wicked Cushions) directions and suggestions, including the recommended videos. I am almost willing to bet that every single bad and subpar review has been due to operator error or not following the directions—on both the sweat covers AND the replacement ear pads.I gave my old on-the-ear Beats to my teen, who quickly wore them out. The factory ear pads were falling apart...obliterated. I did a ton of research on ear pads—literally a ton—I am clinically OCD and over-analyze everything. Initially, I only bought the Sweatz Covers, because I was undecided on the replacement ear pads. The product arrives in a sturdy ziplock-type bag, which concerned me the first time I received something from Wicked Cushions. Do not feel discouraged by the packaging or how fragile the Sweatz Covers may seem at first. If handled and cared for as the manufacturer suggests, you will be pleased with the product. I was impressed enough by the Sweatz Covers to order the replacement ear pads for my son's Beats AND a set of Sweatz Covers for my new over-the-ear Beats to preserve the factory ear pads.While this review is intended for the Sweatz Covers, I must mention the phenomenal quality of the Wicked Cushions ear pads, since it is relevant to my circumstances. I bought the Sweatz Cushions because the ear pads needed replacing. The quality of the Sweatz Cushions prompted my ear pads purchase. I would argue that they are better quality than the factory Beats ear pads. If I wouldn't be throwing money away, I would go ahead and replace my over-the-ear pads with some Wicked Cushions ear pads.The key to these products: FOLLOW THE MANUFACTURER'S DIRECTIONS AND SUGGESTIONS. These products are sent in packages that include an instruction sheet/card with a link to videos. WATCH THE VIDEOS BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING, especially if you have never replaced parts on headsets before. You do this, and you won’t have a single complaint...unless you are one of those who just likes to complain. I highly recommend Wicked Cushions for replacement headset parts. They may have a little bit higher price than some of the other sellers on Amazon, but Wicked Cushions obviously knows what they are doing.I hope this honest, uncompensated, and unbiased product review is helpful to others. Estoy muy contenta con el producto. Pensaba que iba a ser desagradable al tacto por ser como de goma, pero para nada. De hecho, mi pareja lo uso para hacer deporte y ni notó que estaban puestos en los auriculares.Muy contenta, si se me rompen , me compro otros sin dudarlo!!

So Ove had a pair of Beats Solo headphones for about 10+ years (and still found strong) but the padding has deteriorated due to them being my workout headphones. With the covers the sound is still the exact same and it fits perfectly on the padding. The ONLY downside is that they make the headphones slip off my head a little more than usual and that’s the only reason why i gave 4 instead of 5 stars but it doesn’t necessarily bug me (The headphones are technically small for my ears). I recommend them to anyone and everyone!
