Noctua NH-D15S chromax.Black, Quiet High-Performance CPU Cooler

This is the third of these cpu coolers I have purchased (still using the other 2) , though the other two are silver in color. If you have room in your case, this is a fantastic solution for cooling a powerful cpu. I have made the mistake of trying another cooling solution twice and need to stick with these noctua's -- once was an AIO (pump failed 3x; twice warranty and 3rd just outside) and once I went for a full custom water loop (EKWB used differing metals for their plugs and other components in the same product line, which corroded and was more hassle than it was worth). If you are looking for a no frills, gets it done, reasonably quiet for the performance cpu cooler and have the room, look no further. Plus Noctua sends updated mounting brackets (for free!) when new cpu models are released. Can't ask for more. For what it is worth, the 3 cpus these are cooling are: Intel 4790k AMD 7600x AMD 7950x3d Yes, I would buy again, yes I recommend it, and yes it is the most reliable cooling solution :)

Perfect noctua item - once again!!

This is a great cooler. It is quiet, well built, and more than adequate for almost all CPU's. I have bought it for I9-9990K, Core Ultra 9 285K, and Ryzen 5 7600 builds. Never fails! Always chill! Don't worry that it will not fit in your case. It may be big but its asymmetric, offset construction will allow it to work well in all full-tower and most mid-tower cases. Also, don't worry that it has only one fan. You don't need its optional second fan. I will buy this cooler or its successor(s) for all future builds.

This thing is a BEAST, it cools really greatly and quietly, its quality is top notch even packaging, it comes with some thermal paste, I was not able to find a better Air cooler. Replaced my AIO Asus ROG liquid cooler for this one, no regrets. Make sure to measure everything, including RAMs, it will require a big case.

Silent and compatible with tall ram and PCIe in miniITX

Used it with my AMD Ryzen 9 9950X on an ASUS ProArt X870E motherboard. Works very well.

I used Noctua coolers for last 20 years, but I realize that its not for everyone anymore. Water coolers (AIO) offer better cooling and less noise-per-same-temperature today and you can find coolers with similar thermal performance for half of the price. My 9800x3d easily hits 90C under thermal stress apps with this cooler and its far from being the hottest CPU on a market. However if you don't want water cooling (like me) and you want the very best manufacturing quality, Noctua still delivers it. Mirror-like finish of cooler base (also comes in 2 options optimized for AMD / Intel), excellent mounting system that is easy to use and includes small optimizations for AM5 socket, anything you want from a premium product. This is a device that I can rely to be working for next 10 years without maintenance and still be as quiet as new and that's why I paid for it.

I purchased the Noctua CPU air cooler specifically for my Ryzen 7800X3D. It delivers effective cooling performance, though the installation process can be a bit challenging. The provided instructions are decent, and the premium black finish adds a touch of elegance. Additionally, it's compatible with AM5. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Dopo aver avuto un'ottima esperienza con un dissipatore Noctua in passato, ho deciso di affidarmi nuovamente a questo marchio per il mio nuovo setup e ho scelto il modello NH-D15S chromax.black. Cercavo un dissipatore ad aria performante e silenzioso per il mio nuovo processore e devo dire che questo modello ha superato le mie aspettative. Innanzitutto, l'imponenza del dissipatore è evidente fin dalla confezione. Le due torri di raffreddamento e la ventola NF-A15 cromax.black da 140mm fanno subito capire che si tratta di un prodotto di alta qualità. L'installazione è stata semplice e intuitiva, grazie al sistema di montaggio SecuFirm2, marchio di fabbrica di Noctua. Le istruzioni sono chiare e dettagliate e non ho avuto alcun problema a montare il dissipatore sulla mia scheda madre. Una volta acceso il PC, ho potuto apprezzare la silenziosità di questo dissipatore. La ventola NF-A15 è estremamente silenziosa, anche sotto carico intenso. Il mio PC è diventato molto più silenzioso rispetto a prima e posso finalmente concentrarmi sul lavoro o sul gioco senza essere disturbato dal rumore. Le prestazioni di raffreddamento sono eccezionali. Il mio processore è sempre rimasto a temperature molto basse, anche durante sessioni di gioco prolungate o rendering video. Il dissipatore è in grado di dissipare il calore in modo efficiente, mantenendo il processore fresco e performante. Devo dire che questo dissipatore è un degno successore del modello che avevo utilizzato in passato. Noctua ha saputo migliorare ulteriormente le prestazioni e la silenziosità dei suoi dissipatori, offrendo un prodotto di altissima qualità.
