Alley Cat Games Tinderblox - A Dexterity Stacking Game - Excellent Travel Game. Perfect For Families & Children. Pocket Sized Tin. Ages 6+

Tinderblocks is one of those games that's amazing because it can be played and enjoyed by anyone, anywhere. It doesn't matter how old they are or if they're "into games". It's one of those games that you can explain the rules of in under a minute and after the first round everyone knows what's up. It's a family friendly game that can be as competitive or as casual as you want it to be. The pieces themselves are quite sturdy but the twizzers can feel a bit flimsy at times. It comes in a compact tin which is great as you can take it wherever you go. I've personally started taking my tinderblocks and my spaghettin (same maker) with me on holiday as they can be played anywhere on a whim.

This game has been on my wish list for a while. I’ve purchased this for my son’s birthday. We camp a lot and have campfires so the theme of this game suited us as a family. It comes in a little tin which is a great size for travelling. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. We haven’t played yet as this is for my son’s birthday, but once opened and played I’ll update the review. This looks great quality and well made. I’m hoping we’ll find this fun and it will be our go to travel game.

I played Tinderblox with my family at home and when we went out, and it’s really fun. The box is small and strong, so it fits in a bag easily and doesn’t break. The wooden pieces feel nice and solid, and they don’t feel cheap. I like stacking them because it makes me feel careful and excited when it wobbles. The game is easy to learn and quick to set up, so we can start playing straight away. It’s good for kids and parents to play together, and everyone takes turns so it feels fair. It’s especially fun when you are waiting or a bit bored. One thing is that if you play it lots of times in a row, it can feel a bit the same. It’s better to play a few rounds, then do something else. I think it’s good value for the money because the pieces are strong and it lasts. It’s best for families, kids, and travelling.

Really fun game for the whole family, quick and easy to set up and play

Took this gem of a game on our holiday to Turkey and it got as much use as the armbands. Absolutely worth it's salt over and over again. Kids couldn't get enough of it anytime we sat down somewhere and sits in any size perfectly as it's around the size of a wallet. The pieces are wooden and solid, cards are good quality and the tweezers are decent quality plastic although they will be the first thing to break if your kids are easily frustrated. Could t recommend this enough if you want to engage friends and family without phones and tablets.

Great fun and the size is so handy. Very portable for camping or generally light-packing trips. Family-friendly for sure, but we enjoyed playing this on a couples glamping trip after a few beers. (It does get harder as your hands get less and less steady... And also funnier!) Well worth the money, you get £100s of pounds worth of fun from it

Fun game, easy to play and take on holidays. A flat stable surface is needed to play but doesn't need to be large. Have bought other games made by the same company.

Alley Cat Games' Tinderblox is a gem of a travel game. Its simple yet addictive stacking gameplay, featuring uniquely shaped wooden blocks, keeps you engaged for hours. The challenge of balancing the blocks to build a tower adds excitement to each move. Plus, its compact size makes it perfect for gaming on the go. Whether you're waiting in a line or lounging in a hotel room, Tinderblox delivers endless fun wherever you are. It's a must-have for any traveler seeking portable entertainment.

Great little travel game. Loads of fun for those trying to kill some time at the restaurant with your kids while waiting for dinner to show up. Simple concept and most pieces are quality. I expect the tweezers to break quickly (probably why the supply two sets) if they were made of metal, this game could last forever.
