Good for vhs tape cleaning
I replaced the cloth used in Geneva PF-740 Video Tape Cleaner with this pec-pad and it works very good, leaving VHS clean. It requires cutting to be inserted in pins (part PF-742).

Great for Cleaning My Camera Lenses
I’ve been using a camera since the early 70's, mostly as an aid to my job as a technical illustrator/writer, where I found myself out on the manufacturing floor almost every day. In that environment, it was all too easy to get dust or a smudge on my equipment that had to be removed for my next shot. Likewise, after I returned to my office and darkroom I always cleaned my equipment before putting it away. Finding just the right method and tool to clean is important to avoid scratching wasn’t particularly easy back then. Coated glass is too easily scratched, if your aren’t careful. I used a blower brush, but that doesn’t help much with smudges and you just can’t use a tissue or cloth not made for the purpose. I’ve been retired for a number of years now, but still use my camera frequently. Not too long ago, these pads were brought to my attention. After using one, my first thought was, “Where were you a couple of decades ago?” These are small at 4 x 4 inches, but they are more than adequate for cleaning everything from your glasses to photography lenses. Lightly handled, they easily and safely remove smudges like finger prints and other light marks. They don’t leave lint on the glass, and whether cleaning your lens, the glass on your copier or scanner, or even your laptop screen, I’ve found them handy and quite efficient and certainly safe for the task. The PecPad brand works very well dry. I don’t find them adsorbent though, at least not with the particular lens cleaner that I use. The package mentions their own brand of liquid optic cleaner, but I have not tried that. I find these to be slightly expensive at about 75-cents a pad. But that is about the only negative I have. They work quite well dry and are certainly easy to pack in my camera bag.

PERFECT FOR TRAVEL! CLEANS ALL YOUR GLASS!!!!!!
I've been using this brand for YEARS with all their cleaning gear. The wipes come in a small ZIPLOCK bag (10) count, and I just put 20-30 at a time into my camera bag to clean lenses front & back with alcohol pads to clean it first. It works perfectly every time, taking 3-5 minutes to wipe the front sphere, back element, and filters. ALL Canon RF Glass with an R5 & R3. Pick up 100 small alcohol pads for medical use, put 5 -10 in the bag, and you are good to go! They make GREAT sensor cleaning kits, two of which I have 2! If you have any questions, shoot!!!! TM YOUTUBE STATEMENT ABOUT REVIEWS AND PHOTOS I'm in the process of setting up my YouTube studio to create product reviews. I plan to post a video review of this product on Amazon shortly. Once the studio is ready, I will upload those videos on YouTube and share them here. I use a Canon R3 camera with various RF lenses to capture professional product shots for my clients. My experience includes commercial photography at conferences, conventions, product shoots, podcasts, motorsports, PGA, MMA, and various events in Experiential Marketing across the USA and Canada. The purpose of creating these video reviews is to help people understand the practical use of the product and how it compares to other products. This will be beneficial for both Amazon and YouTube reviews. TM

small size bag with a zip closure means they're always near
The thing about lens cloths is they do no good if you don't have one that's clean and close. I normally use some microfiber cloths, but they can get dusty and dust can scratch lenses and coatings. These come in a zip lock pouch about 4 inches square and tuck into some thin spots in any bag. So far, i've tucked them in two different bags and my back pocket. The bag keeps them dust-free.

Convenient and works well
I don't know about you, but one of the things I hate about photography is when I get back from a shoot and realize that I forgot to clean off my lens and I have specks of dust all over it. Yes, it's not that difficult to remove them in post, but it's still a pain and unnecessary if I just get in the habit of cleaning my lenses as part of my prep. Having a pack of these pads makes that easier because they work well and I like to start with a clean one each time. I clean off the lenses I'm going to use (with a little liquid cleaner) and then use it to wipe down the camera body and outside of the lens. The package claims you can use it to clean a sensor also, but I don't think I would attempt that. These pads work as advertised (besides the sensor) and they are a handy addition to my camera bag.

These Simply Work
These just work and are usually what I reach for if a brush and/or air blaster are not enough for the job (e.g. smudges or stubborn dust) and when traveling light. Most solutions work great, but you still need to exercise some common sense depending on what you are cleaning (optics, sensor, film, old pictures, etc.) Reusable microfiber cloths may seem more appealing until you realize that solution residue, dust, oil from your hands, etc. render them useless relatively quickly and they likewise need to be thrown away creating more garbage. If you still have doubts, give the 10 pack a try, but it is a lot more cost effective to go with the bigger packs and these are worth it. They work great for me on glasses and binoculars as well.

Nothing Better than Pec-Pads
I ordered this pack of Photographic Solutions PEC-PAD Lint Free Non-Abrasive Photo Wipes to clean slides and negatives. I have a lot of old slides and negatives that need to be scanned, and a lot of new negatives that I'm printing in a wet darkroom. Nothing comes close to Pec-Pads when it comes to cleaning negatives. They are totally lint free and non-abrasive. You can apply a significant amount of pressure to a negative, even on the emulsion side, and you won't get any scratches. Yes, Pac-Pads are expensive. There is a reason -- they are in a class my themselves,

Authentic, Original Pec Pads, Non-Scratch for Optics, Sensors, etc.
Pec Pads and products are all I use for cleaning my camera optics. They have a proven track record of not scratching – ever! They are commonly used for scientific and industrial instruments. These pads can be used to clean your delicate digital camera’s sensor. If you are not familiar with how, go to their website and they will show you how to fold a pad around a stick and use a liquid cleaner to clean your sensor. Not rocket science but very particular steps to follow to protect your sensor. Don’t try that with anything other than a Pec Pad. These are the standard to use – I highly recommend them.
