The right kit to repeat what's shown in online videos
This kit was just like ones I saw in videos. The directions were also actually reasonable. Anyway I bled the brakes on my Santa Cruz Heckler 9 E-mtb. I think the brakes are SRAM Code R. Straightforward process if you follow the instructions carefully. Very happy with the outcome! The one wrinkle I hit: The attachment for the SRAM caliper won't fit in the opening of some brake fluid bottles. I had to use a small cup to draw from, to fill the syringe. Note this is the standard attachment for SRAM, so not unique to this kit.

If you're new to bleeding brakes - it can be intimidating. Read this!
If you’re like me and have never done it, you first watch many YouTube videos on how to bleed SRAM brakes, then you gain some confidence that you can do it yourself, then try, then miserably fail and bring the bike to your local bike shop cause “something is really not right with the brakes”. And then – a bit later of course – you watch some more YouTube videos and try again. I still can’t say if this kit is as good (or worse) in build quality compared to the original SRAM kit, it certainly is cheaper. Attempts 2 to 5: Sometime it worked, sometimes not, I was really not sure how to get all the air out of the lines. Sometimes I blamed myself, sometimes I thought “maybe this kit is just not good enough”. And then – surprise, surprise – instead of following some YouTube video, I followed the written instructions that came with this kit. And – BOOM – it all worked perfect! Let’s be honest: Most of the times, written instructions that come with copycat cheapo options from a certain country are quite useless. In this case though – these are the best instructions to follow. I’ll admit that watching many YouTube videos helped getting educated on the subject and secondly, maybe this is a craft that needs practicing. In any case, following the written instructions here gave me the perfect result at attempt #6. Yuuhuu! I’m so happy, I felt compelled to write a review. Maybe it helps someone.

Nice bleed kit
Worked as planned. Only thing is that my SRAM brakes have a larger bleed port and non of the fittings would fit that hole size. I had to remove the hose and push the fluid thru the bleed port by opening just a small amount. The instruction showed a larger one for SRAM but there was not one in the pack.. The video help a lot. But it also showed a funnel that was not there either.

Great value!
I thought I'd take a chance on this inexpensive kit and to my surprise the quality and functionality is terrific! I've used brake bleed kits where the syringes were SO stiff you could hardly get the fluid to flow back and forth between them (like SRAM requires) making it a real pain in the butt to bleed the brakes. My only minor complaint would be the red triangular shaped "nut" that slides onto the SRAM bleed nipple and is used to open/close the bleed port; when you attempt to push the nipple into the port and snap the needle into place the triangle simply pushes down (towards the caliper) and off the nipple, making it entirely useless. I ended up taking the assembly apart and sliding the triangle onto the nipple from the opposite end, thus making insertion much easier and withdrawal from the port a pain (but I prefer it that way). I hope that makes sense, and if you purchase one of these kits to use with SRAM brakes you'll quickly see what I mean. Overall, a terrific value I'd recommend to anyone needing a versatile brake bleed kit. One last note: if you're working with SRAM brakes buy Prestone DOT 5.1 brake fluid from any auto parts retailer, it will save you a BUNCH of $$$$'s over what you find when searching for "SRAM Fluid", which is exactly the same.

The home mechanic’s bleed kit
This kit has everything you need except the brake fluid. For 1/5 the price of SRAM’s pro kit. Let me fill you in on a little secret- I’m not a pro mechanic! With this kit I was able easily recover from my opening the reservoir compartment by mistake when going to change a shifter battery.! Dumb mistake and definitely not pro! It’s what I get for not wearing glasses at the time. I completely ignored the instructions that came with the kit and instead watched SRAM’s and GCN’s videos. This kit had all the right parts for 1/5 the price of SRAM’s kit. It’s definitely not as nice but my garage isn’t a shop servicing a bike a day. I’m not likely to bleed brakes again for a year or two and I expect this kit will serve well then also. So I’ll throw it in a cabinet in it’s included zip lock bag until then.

Fitting does not fit Sram code ultimate.
Seems to be decent quality but the fittings did not work for my newer SRAM brakes, even though it is listed as compatible.

Great kit for travel and at home
This thing works great if you’re really into bikes and need to take it somewhere with you, it’s portable you could fix brakes or brake lines out on the road as long as you have the line with this kit and it’s super easy

Don’t buy if you have SRAM brakes!
Should have listened to the few reviews that say it does not work with SRAM Force brakes because they are correct. Does not include the connection for the caliper side. Thankfully a friend had one, but what the heck do I do with this kit now?

Does not fit SRAM force. Found out after “using”
By on original one from SRAM. Cost more but you get something that works and fit. This was a true wast of money….🤬

Simple, affordable, just make sure you have good quality spreader for pistons
Affordable, quality is more than acceptable for hobby usage, works very well for bleeding of my Sram Code RSC brakes. Be carefull, its better to buy good quality universal piston spreader tool, provided plastic spreaders didn't work for Sram Code RSC brakes.
