Hooga Red Light Therapy Panel Device – 660nm Red & 850nm Near Infrared Light Therapy, LED Light Therapy Lamp for Face & Body, 40 LEDs, Timer, Adjustable Stand – HG200

I love this smaller Hooga red light panel-HG 200! It is a great red light device for the price! Also just a great starter product into red light therapy that really works! I bought mine in February of 2025 with the idea of it being an intro to an at-home device that wasn’t too expensive (but it had the recommended 660nm Red and 850nm NIR that I wanted), and a year and a half later it is still working like it did on day 1! I’ve used it for so many things, and it has helped me tremendously. First of all, it’s a great mood booster! Face the panel (I always use both the red light and near infrared vs one or the other) for about 15 minutes and you will feel a difference afterwards! I’ve used it for spot treatments for random aches and pains and/or injuries (foot, my upper and lower back, neck, hips, calves, etc.), and I’ve also used it for more chronic aches and pains, and it really helps so much! It’s not a miracle cure, but really makes a big difference! I’ve also used it for my skin-face and neck, and when I’m consistent with using it (daily on my face and neck) my skin looks more even toned and brighter. But like everything health and wellness, consistency is the key! The panel is great as far as being portable-you can take it wherever. It’s the most stable with its kick stand on, on a hard surface-I’ll sometimes use it on my nightstand or a table/desk and it is stable, and adjusts well. BUT I really love using it when lying in bed relaxing before going to sleep at night, or in the mornings when I wake up, and I’ll either just hold it, or prop it up against a pillow or something and it works just fine :) The weight is not too heavy. I can hold it above my face while lying down with no problem. It does get hot after several consecutive uses so keep that in mind. Anyway, if you are just starting out on your red light journey, or can’t or don’t want to spend a ton of money, try this device out! I have loved mine!

Pros * It is very bright (shockingly so) * It is very well made- metal construction, heavy, good fasteners * Quality paint and texture * Nice reflectors- attractive and effective * The controls are simple and functional * Audible feedback on button presses * Nice coverage pattern * Good air flow (although lacks vents on top/bottom) * Convenient size * Reasonable price * Nice packaging and instructions Cons: * Like others have mentioned, the stand is a bit frustrating/limiting * Lack of screw-hole mounting points for different stands/tripods * Would have preferred a longer cord length between AC adapter and unit

i can't recommend this product enough. yes it is expensive, but definitely worth it. i've had post-inflammatory erythema or acne scars for years, and using the red light consistently for 5 minutes for about 3 months has shown extreme improvement in the redness of my skin. ive also used sunscreen and a calming skincare routine, but i would definitely say this has had the biggest impact. my skin tone is overall more even and smoother. whenever i have a pimple, it usually is flattened the next day after using this. it's very easy to use, portable--i can even take it in my carry-on. the brightness is very, very bright but over time i got used to it. i think one of my biggest gripes is that in regards to PIE/scars/acne it doesn't heal/fade blemishes evenly and it is patchy, but that could just be my scars in general. additionally, the adjustability ledge that it leans on is a bit flimsy. it definitely has shown more improvement than anything ive ever used, and i can't wait to see wait to see results in another 3 months.

This could be easier to use if the buttons were not on the front. Every time I use it I bump the buttons. Though I do feel like I have had results from using it constantly in managing my pain. It will get hot with multiple uses in a row. I have several areas that I need treatment. I chose this one as it is smaller and doesn’t weigh a lot so it could be easier to manage.

Not usually the one too eager to spend time writing reviews, but this one is definitely worth it! Bought this lamp because I was feeling lousy and ill with painful sciatica, that means I was like totally desperate. After only a couple of procedures 5 to 10 minutes with the lamp, I was feeling better and and energized like I haven’t felt in a very long time. So far, I have been recommending it to anybody who would listen- all my friends and clients that I work with, and of course people are listening because some of them heard me when I was in my worst with the sciatica and they believe my word when I tell them I’m feeling so much better. Definitely recommend this product. I haven’t tried any other, but this seems to be fitting my needs, as is a small and compact, and it can be carried places, and also I can point it to any part of my body that needs treatment and it works. I do recommend whoever uses it to follow the instructions which are very helpful. Not sure how it works about beautifying but for health recovery I definitely give two thumbs up.

I bought this after hearing on huberman how red light can improve eye sight. You would have to listen to the podcast to know details. The red light does feel intense when standing a foot away even with eyes closed. Ill put a hand in front of me with fingers slightly spread apart and it reduces the intensity. I feel after using it for 3-5 mins my eyes do see colors better and things appear brighter. I think I have presbyopia and it seems to be helping. i dont use eyewear.

Great product! Perfect size, works as it should. I have had other red lights, this one is definitely an upgrade, the timer is great also!

Non si capisce se è hg200 o hg300, il manuale fa schifo, ci sono troppe cose che non spiega.

Yo tengo problema de espalda baja de toda la vida. Desde que empecé a usar el dispositivo, puedo asegurar que ha ayudado a reducir molestias. Obviamente los resultados son paulatinos y hay que tener paciencia y constancia, no es algo que suceda de la noche a la mañana. El dispositivo de la foto es una versión anterior pero ya tiene sus 4 años trabajando bien.
