Q: Can i remove the white cover? im very disappointed. this light is not bright enough and i thought 21" meant more light! its terrible for hair content.

I can understand your frustrations! I really like mine. You have to tinker with the light settings, have as much natural light as possible or you will find not only this ring will not give you the best lighting neither will more expensive rings. I can be impatient but I stuck it out and I don’t regret it. Good luck!

Q: How big of an ipad does it hold?

I would say at least a medium sized I only use my phone so I can’t be 100% sure
