How accurate is the LKC-1000S+ compared to professional instruments?

It uses industrial-grade Dart sensors for HCHO and laser scattering for PM2.5/PM10. It's a trend indicator for spotting sources and tracking ventilation. Allow 2–3 min warm-up; keep inlet clear. Not lab-grade, but delivers actionable home data.

How does the Excel data export work?

Connect via USB, then hold stop/play and select "Data Export" on the device. It appears as the "TEMTOP" drive; open the time-stamped CSV in Excel to chart 7 parameters (PM2.5/PM10/HCHO/TVOC/temp/humidity/AQI). Ideal for inspections or tracking.

How long does the battery last? Is it truly portable?

Battery lasts 6-8 hours for portable spot checking - ideal for moving between rooms, testing car air, or outdoor readings. For full‑time use, keep it plugged in for 24/7 monitoring, with a built‑in 12‑hour histogram showing trends throughout the day.

How do I reach Temtop support if I need help?

Support options: Amazon buyer-seller messaging (fastest), or temtop.com/support for guides and firmware updates. We have a US-based support team for Amazon customers.

Why is this more expensive than basic $30-50 air quality monitors?

Professional 7‑in‑1 consolidates 3 devices: Dart electrochemical HCHO (industrial-grade, not cheap semiconductor), laser PM2.5 & PM10, plus VOC sensing. Exclusive 12‑hr histogram and 3‑month data export to Excel. Basic monitors lack logging.
