What Are The Benefits Of Using This Product?

Not real sure what sort of Benefits you are wanting but this product is simply delicious. Add chicken, pork, beef, veggies, eggs etc to change it up. I guess to me the Benefit is that it is convenient and delicious.

I cant tolerate spicy foods but always wanted to try curry is this spicy at all?

I cant tolerate spicy either. I bought the mild for myself and the medium hot for my husband and the mild had no spice at all. The medium had barely any spice. And this is coming from someone who hates spicy food! You'll be good getting the mild or medium hot. I haven't tried the hottest one

Why is it a year old?

Watch out if it is old!! The bugs love these so i highly recommend not to use them if expired. Firstly the seller should not be selling expired foods. Even it is within the expiration date, you should put the remainder plastic packages in the refrigerator even the plastic lid is unopened.
