We use this once a week or two. My dog it's itchy and turns pink and sometimes blotched of rash/bumps. We try to stay on giving him a bath every couple weeks with it to stop the itching. After using this on him by the next day he is cleared up. We started with our 2 year old when we got him at 8 weeks. His belly was full of bumps and skin was so pink. The shelter named him piglet because he was so pink. We believe the foster had flies and he was having a reaction. We used it as soon as we got home and the next morning he wasn't pink and the bumps had went down a bunch It smells so good and doesn't leave a wet dog smell mixed with it and leaves their coat so soft. My cat suffers from quite serious millary dermatitis caused by a flea bite allergy; he gets sores all up his back if he gets bitten by a flea. I am tired of having to take him to the vets and paying £60 every time he gets poorly from this, as I don't like him having loads of steroid and antibiotic injections. This happens even if he is flea treated, so I decided to try and also treat the dermatitis. I bought this product for this purpose and I am massively impressed; after one treatment his sores began to heal and he's more like his old self, without having to use drugs and spend a fortune! It was easy to apply, has a lovely scent and, in my opinion more importantly, was easy to wash off so I didn't have to stress him out unduly with loads of washing and scrubbing at his fur. This is a thick cream that is not a shampoo. It helps certain skin conditions by alleviating itching. My dogs skin was itchy after I walked them someplace new that had fleas. First I shampooed to kill the fleas then used this to soothe their skin. It worked great. I also have a dog that gets itchy from allergies, this wasn't very effective. So it depends on the cause. However it left their coats silky and soft and smelled good.
