Does this frame hinder the motion sensor or ambient light detection?

Yes, the sensitivity of the motion / ambient light sensor would be reduced. There is an accessory adapter piece being engineered as an add-on to minimize the impact, however the release of it has been delayed due to COVID. When it becomes available, you’ll be able to order that part separate if you find that you need it, though the vast majority of our clients have found it not to be necessary after a manual override of the settings.
