Probiotics for Dogs, Digestive Health Powder with Prebiotic, Chicken, 30ct

As my dogs got older my vet recommended that I give them a probiotic to help with digestion. She sold me one and I used it and it seemed to work fine. I did some research and found that a prebiotic is very good for the dogs also.That is when I tried this one which is a prebiotic and a probiotic combined. I mix it in with the dog's food and they take it with no problem. It appears to relieve their stomach indigestion. Would highly recommend.

Seems to work well, dogs love the chicken flavor. 4-star is for the price. Costs me $2/day for my dogs (who are also on prescriptions that are not cheap).

When they say dogs like it, they mean it. My dogs have been using it for about 2 weeks, haven't seen a big change yet, but I'm willing to keep giving it to them. I am hoping the itching will finally go away. As far as their poop, it is all good.

Our dog has not been eating his food regularly. He was having diarrhea and irregular bowel movements. I take probiotics (Dr. recommendation) so I thought, why not try it for our dog? We have been giving him one container of Cesar Filets In Sauce every day, along with Royal Canin dry. We pour one packet on his Cesar, stir it in and he has eaten it every time. He can be a bit picky, but so far, no hesitation whatsoever. We are at the end of the first 30 days (one bag). His appetite has now gotten to where he wants two containers of Cesar! He is more hungry! Two at one time is a bit more than he needs, so we give him one in the morning and one at night, but only add the probiotics in the evening. I was skeptical when first began this, but I can't argue with the results. His bowel movements are very regular. That's the key! He's still pretty frisky for his age, and loves to play and run. I understand that every dog is different, but give it a 30 day try. You have much to gain and little to lose.

We thought everything was going well. Our girl took to this right away! We sprinkled it on top of her food every morning and she continued to eat her food as usual. Our girl now is developing diarrhea as a result of it's continued use. She also has severe GI upset, nausea & minimal vomiting (meaning very little). Our girl hasn't got into anything and we don't feed her table scraps. The only thing new is this Probiotic. Why after almost a month it started doing this...We don't know! Needless to say it's a no go for our girl! We won't be using it anymore!
