I wanted to build a backup to mirror my primary drive image (Samsung Evo 850 500 GB M2 SSD in a Gigabyte Z170 Gaming 3 motherboard slot) in a Windows 10 machine. I set the card up as RAID 1 using 2 850 M2 Evo's. After a reboot, the card was recognized as a single 500GB drive in BIOS and is processing my backups with no issue. Setup using the jumpers was easy and not needing to use BIOS or OS RAID configuration greatly simplifies the implementation.

I use this to erase multiple SSD's without having to use a PCI card that has to be inserted into the motherboard multiple times wearing out the PCI socket. This works flawlessly and without any drivers on Windows 7 and 10, it is also the sturdiest solutions to use M.2 or mSATA drives in a laptop or desktop that does not have a native slot for those drives. I will also be trying the Ableconn IIDE-MSAT mSATA SSD to 2.5-Inch IDE Adapter to use M.2 drives in some older gaming laptops since this is such a great product I have to assume that their other adapters are just as robust.
