where is the kit made?

also the inserts are between 1/4" long for the smaller ones and up to1/2" long on the larger inserts.

What are the lengths of the SAE insert pieces?

Depends on size if insert, from 1/4 to 1/2 inch long, if you need more threads you just add more inserts

How long are the helicoil?

Smaller are about 3/16 medium are about 1/4 larger sizes are about 1/2 in.

What do you use for a handle for the taps? There doesn't seem to be anything included in the kit.

I just used a handle off another tap set I had. You could also use a 12 or 8 pt socket.
