My wife's laptop is still perfectly functional, except that the battery would not hold a charge. I EASILY replaced it with this, and it holds its charge like new. Fit was excellent, compatibility was perfect, and I only paid like $30. Great value!!

Very happy so far with the battery. I used it to replace the unchargeable battery in my Acer Aspire F5-573-55LV. The battery that came with the laptop is labeled "Acer AS16A5K (4ICR19/66)," 14.8 V, 2650mAh. This replacement is "AS16A5K," 14.8V, 2600 mAh. So this is one is rated 50 mAh less than the original. The removal process is not complicated, although there were 21 screws to be removed to access the battery. Most are the same length and thread, but magnetic dishes are helpful to avoid dropping them. Disassembly guides can be found on the internet for the Acer Aspire F5-573 series. The battery fits perfectly. I did the recommended conditioning procedure 4 times (explained in an included booklet) charging to 100% and discharging completely. 1 week after replacement, the battery holds charge on standby for > 8 hours and 2-4 when in use. Excellent value, fast shipping - arrived in 6 days. The company sent a nice follow-up email to see if I were satisfied with the purchase and an offer to help if not.

Purchased for an Acer Aspire E 15. While the battery easily fits inside the battery compartment, it's only about two thirds the size of the original battery (probably because it's intended for a Dell computer, as noted on the label), and only holds a charge in sleep mode for less than six hours. The original battery still holds a charge, in sleep mode, for several hours longer ('Glad I didn't throw the old, original battery away., because it's going right back in the computer.). Having a lot of experience with batteries, I'd have to say these batteries aren't "New". They're most likely just old batteries that have been put through reconditioning. Over-all, this replacement battery is no substitute for the original battery. On the positive side, the seller does respond to customer concerns in a professional manner. So, aside from my initial disappointment, I believe the seller has the customer's interest in mind.

I've had my Aspire F15 (F5-573T) for several years and it took this long for the battery to finally wear down enough to hold a charge for barely an hour. After a lot of searching, I found this battery for so cheap and I was optimistic and suspicious at the same time! The battery works beautifully and I feel like I have my mobile life back with the laptop. The only hitch (and reason I'm not giving 5 stars) is that it doesn't fit EXACTLY in the slot meant for the battery. It's just slightly bigger but the cover does close over it and the screws still hold everything in place.

The battery swap takes a little more than an hour to complete. The vendor provides two tools help with the battery replacement. One Torx plastic driver I did not use. The Philips head screw driver worked well, nice addition to the kit. The of the process was to remove the screws & put them where they not be lost. Blue painter's tape holds the screws on the desk top. These screws were all the same thread & length, they did not need to be numbered for location on the laptop. The old power connector was very tight on to the laptop mother board. After some tugging & pulling the connector came loose. I used the the cell phone camera to take a picture connector to make sure of the color code was correct when the new battery placed. Placed the new battery into the case & motherboard. Then connected the new connector in place, double checked the color code was correct & pushed the connector on to mother board pins. Finished returning the screws into their places on the case to button the case back together. The battery replacement worked well, no missed steps just time consuming work. I would buy & replace the same battery from this vendor again if need be. Thanks for a great product. Good luck to guys & your battery company.

Battery didn't last a year before it stopped holding a charge. Easy to install. Checked every other solution before settling that it was the battery.
