This book has so many fun and simple designs! I have made many things, both for my 1:12th scale dollhouse and real-life scale projects. I highly recommend this book.

Filled with new designs and projects that I have not seen in other miniature books. Designs are in both needlepoint and cross stitch for beginners and more advanced crafters. Instructions are very easy to follow. Loved it so much that I purchased a copy for my friend.

Was very interesting, I mostly quilt and did not see much along those lines but gave me much to think about.

The kindle edition refers to pictures on the inside front cover and both sides of the back cover but does not provide these pictures. The only pictorial reference is the front cover. Disappointing, as it is not always easy to visualize the finished product from the written description.

中華風リビング、暖炉のある青いリビング&ピンクのベッドルーム、うさぎの子供部屋の4シーンが作れる図案本。表紙1〜4以外はモノクロで、表紙写真の図案が全て載ってます。ミニチュア用だけに、配色は簡略化されていますが龍の衝立や梅のカーペット、フレームの中身など細かい図案もかなりあります。ただし、仕立て方の説明が文章のみなので苦手な方は注意。 ドールハウスに1品入れればかなり高級感が出せそうです。

There's a 1 star review on here that I only read after buying this book from the Marketplace. I was worried. Turns out, I didn't need to be. I think that reviewer may need glasses. Nothing is "misty", this book was published in 1984 so the photography may not be as crisp as what you'll find in bookstores today but I don't see a problem. Maybe they bought a photocopied version of the book or something but there's nothing wrong with the print quality of the book. This isn't the first cross stitch book I've seen that didn't have colour photos within the book. The front and back covers (both outside and in) have colour photos of most, if not all of, the projects. The only real complaint there is that because they're being used in dollhouse rooms, some of them are quite small and there's no close-up colour photo. This is fairly minor, in my opinion. The patterns are large and easy to see. A few of them use a small dot to denote one of the colours in the design that would have been better using a larger dot or something slightly bolder but it's not unclear and if it's really a problem, vision wise, you can always photocopy the pattern out of the book (might be worth doing anyway if you're like me and like to mark on your pattern as you go) and you can use a marker or something to make those stitch marks easier to see before you begin. I don't think it would be necessary but your mileage may vary and you might find it useful. If anyone is concerned with clarity of the patterns, thanks to that other review, they need not be. The designs are crisp and clear and will be easy to follow. Given that the book was published in 1984, I don't find anything too dated or weird looking either so that was also a pleasant surprise. I've included a photo of one page in the book so that people can see what the patterns look like.

表紙の写真が素敵で到着をワクワクしながら待ち望んでいたのですが、図案が見づらいことこの上ないです。 中身は全て白黒で紙質も微妙、ちょっとがっかりしつつも図案をよく見てみると、 刺繍で入れるラインと、ガイドで入っている方眼のラインが重なっていてさっぱりわからない部分があります。 刺繍を入れる場所を示す〇やロや△や✕などのマークも手書きで荒いので、見ていてストレスを感じます。 作る前に心折れました。 せっかく素敵なデザインなのにもったいない・・・。
