FolgersLively Colombian Coffee, 80-Count cups

This is a great tasting coffee - just so you'll know what I usually drink for a "taste" comparison, I've usually drink the Donut Shop coffee and Emeril's Big Easy Bold. This one has a taste somewhere in-between, and is nice and smooth. No bad after taste that lingers long after you've had your cup. I actually like this version of Folgers vs. the Black Silk KCup you can also purchase here on Amazon.One thing to look out for on these, and all KCup coffee sold here on Amazon, is to carefully check the cost per cup by taking the total price and dividing by the number of cups you get. The pricing for this variety seems to be fairly dynamic, and many times the large packages like this 80-count package may cost more per cup than the ones with a smaller number of servings. Then, the next time you're ready to order, the pricing for all has changed and you're going through the math again.

I found this to be 'middle of the road' blend. I was not expecting it to be more than that, hence the 4 stars. There are other richer blends with a more full body taste that I prefer. Note: This is personal preference, not the fault of Folgers. I have dropped the size of the brew on my Keurig and it has helped considerably. Unfortunately, I often forget to do that at 6:00 am in the morning - not terrible coherent without that first, fresh cup !!!If you like a milder blend, try this. The price is right and it is nice to keep different blends in the house for guests.

It would help dispel concerns with the origin of the coffee if it came in a Folgers box like depicted in the advertisement. Receiving the product in a brown unmarked box opens the door for concerns whether it is legitimately a Folgers product or not.

For the money, it compares with Starbucks Colombian. Have never seen Folger's Lively Colombian coffee at any location except Amazon.

This coffee is my husband's favorite. He uses it always. Have been ordering from Amazon for past year, at least. Record customer. 80 cup package every 3 weeks or so. He drinks it, I do not. I prefer a milder coffee. I prefer the Folgers classic roast-And I make it by the potful. No k-cups-at least not often. I do like to have my deliveries on time and so far that is happening. I order from Amazon because I have difficulty finding any package other than a 12 count in local stores. I can travel 12 miles to get the 18 count package but that's out of the way most times.

The individual k-cup pods are not sealed very well where the top foil and plastic pod come together. I've noticed this more and more frequently with each box of 80 pods I order. In the last three days, I've had four pods malfunction. This is extremely frustrating when I am about to leave for the day with a cup of coffee, but can't because the cup has grounds in it, and the Keurig machine has grounds all around the pod holder. I had already placed a repeat order for this product. I am uncertain whether to keep the new shipment, or send it back.

This is so convenient I get enough to last a few weeks instead of having to go to the store every week for a box.Latest update: 2016 still buy this monthly. The cost for a cup of coffee ranges from 61-63 cents a cup. The regular ground coffee in the store is much much less but there is no mess with these and I found a great recycle trick. I pull the tops off put in dirt and use them as my seed starters, then I put them in an egg carton cover in plastic wrap. I have enough starter plants this year for my whole garden.
