KuzaNaturals Castor Oil Hair Lotion Moisturizer, Black

I have been wearing my natural hair since 1999. My only issue was moisture. I couldn’t seem to find a moisturizer that actually left my hair feeling moisturized under my styling products until this. I have dyed mushroom blonde hair and even still, my hair is soft and touchable. I know it is this product because I haven’t changed anything else. I use a leave in conditioner then I put this moisturizer over that and sometimes I will use a curl cream or sometimes I will just use those two products and I have not had a bad hair day since. My hair is very short now I cut it all off for probably the fourth time because I kept getting color damage. I think I’m going to grow it back and that will be the true test. Sometimes things work really great on my short hair but not so much when my hair is long I don’t know why but having this product and the way my hair feels with it almost makes me want to keep it short just to ensure that it will always look and feel good . I think this is Brand is not well known so I hope that through Amazon reviews we can get the word out so that they never stop selling this product but just in case I think I’m going to stock up lol

I tried this a week ago based off the positive reviews and they were correct.I washed my 4b/4c type hair with clarifying shampoo just to start with a clean slate.I didn’t condition because I wanted to check how this product worked alone and it was a success.I have had softer, moisturized feeling hair since then. My hair wash cycle is 7 days because most, not all, Afro textured hair doesn’t produce enough sebum to require more frequent washes. So do what works for you only.I may purchase a 3rd bottle because I noticed when I have success with products they’re discontinued or constantly out of stock.Plus after 7 days I grew a half inch length. I measured before.Good luck and experiment with this cream.

I gave this product a 3 star because One as you can see in the pictures that the lotion is coming out the bottle and two the seal is clearly broke. When I buy hair products, unless it has a pump, it has a seal. I don’t like that it doesn’t have a seal. It has a strong smell it’s not bad but it’s different if you haven’t used this product before, which I haven’t, so it’s foreign to me.

The smell is nice and the moisturizer is not greesy. It adds just enough moisture for my afro.

If gatekeeping is wrong, I don’t wanna be right lmao it’s so good, on wet or dry hair. Especially in my braids! To give them a quick refresh

Moisturising , good texture, not too thick or sticky

Very good for low porosity hair provides lots of moisture without bring sticky or heavy and has a light pleasant smell.

Spray hair lightly with water then apply and hair becomes soft and manageable. Smells good too!!
