With the sometimes balky adjustments of fitting the clamp to different backpacks, I found it slightly awkward to have adjustments at both ends of the clamp but in hindsight you would need the flexibility for the many types of straps it may encounter. It was mostly growing pains to see which method works with what backpack. It is well made and expect it to last. More use may alleviate the slight snags of attaching it to the backpack.

Okay but that hard plastic will cut into your breast.That side to side adjusting is key. When you put on straps for a back pack or camel back, the camera angles off; not straight forward.The locking mechanism is a but klunky but seems to hold well ( most important ). In fact, I've take to using it to mount my gopro facing backward. Actually works pretty well.

It works great. I don't like wearing my GoPro with all my hiking gear. This makes it so you have one less thing to strap to you on long hikes. I am only 5'2 and it films a bit low on my shoulder because I am short. It does allow you to tilt the GoPro upward some. This would work even better with someone who is taller.

Needed something that would go from pack to pack and this does the job just fine.

Works well. I bought it in September and wore it everyday and it held up great until today. It’s sturdy but the weakest part seems to be a swivel point in the clip itself. Go pro fits nicely on its designated area. Perhaps the seller can redesign the product to fix the faulty swivel joint. Other then that issue I have no complaints with this mount. Update… used very small washers to grab a hold of the clip and siliconed it back together. Has been a good couple of months of everyday use and still working good!

I bought this for my backpack strap so I could have the range of motion for the camera while backpacking. Unfortunately, it does not work with backpack padded straps. And when I did use it on a smaller hydration pack, the plastic back was so thick it was like having a block of wood between me and my strap.I loved the range for steadying the camera when attached. But until I can find a way to hook it to a strap on a strap so it does not dig into my chest, this will be another "action camera" device that will sit in my box.
