Ours didn't come with paint or marker. What type of paint and marker are they?

I almost missed the paint and marker in ours- it was in a box inside the big box that was stuck to the edge. However I am also looking for the type of paint that would be best as I would like to replace two of the colors. Any suggestions on type of paint to buy at he craft store?
