Best way to increase FOC for long draw lengths
These are awesome. If you have a long draw length like me (30-1/4”), then you know it’s hard to increase your FOC without building a crazy heavy (and slow) arrow. Lighter GPI at the same arrow spine. The outserts (I recommend the titanium) let you cut your arrow an inch shorter and moves your FOC forward as well as let you install standard thread points and broadheads. Lighter arrow and higher FOC also lets me use a shorter and lighter vane which again increases FOC. They’re also tough as nails. I put one through a 3/4” wooden fence after forgetting to move my sight back after shooting from longer range and after replacing only the fletching, no cracks, mushrooming, point or outsert damage, and it still spun perfectly true.
