We had some plastic on the window and it was noisy, so we came to Amazon to look for something we could put up around the window. This was very easy to install. Just clean around the frame, put up the tape. Then put up the surround. It seals very well and we have been using our AC and there is no hot air coming back into the house. Very functional, great value for the money and the appearance is unobtrusive. Would highly recommend.

I have bought a few of these in the last six years for myself and my mother's house. Overall they are all pretty much the same but this one definitely had the best instructions.

It’s a little bit awkward to set up on an outward opening window, there’s no getting away from that. And it’s not a perfect seal around the hole you leave for the hose. I’ve ended up rigging up gardening twine to go through the zips and around the hose to pull tight and keep it all snug against the hose. And more gardening twine tied to the frame above to pull the hose up so it’s not exerting pressure on the fabric and pulling it down. It’ll do for now until I can figure out a better solution. A good improvement would be an elasticated hole for the hose to go through, rather than the zips. I’ve managed to set it up in a way where I can close the window and secure it when I need to. Obviously I can not open the window fully now unless I remove it, and I just can’t face sticking it all up again, so it will stay in place for the summer. I went for a slightly smaller size rather than have miles of extra material hanging down, and I have used the excess tape to stick a strip of cardboard over the gap. So all in all not perfect by a long way, but a heck of a lot better than trying to rig something up myself. Despite the awkwardness, and with a few adjustments, it’s working as it should and I can make my room ice cold with the portable air conditioning unit I bought.

It works. Easy enough to fit (took about 10 minutes). I've bought 2, one fitted to a small window and one for a tall window, there's plenty of room in this and both have excess left over. I have no idea what the sticky back Velcro does to the window frame when removing it... It's seriously sticky, but it has to be. One issue... on the small window which is higher up, the AC pipe doesn't want to stay where I put it... and the zips on this are so light to move that they'll open up when the pipe pulls back a bit, so if the zips could lock into position then they'd stop the pipe moving... without that it's just a bit of a faff to get the pipe to stay put and the zip into the best place where it will stay put. But again, it works... it keeps the hot air out, and HOPEFULLY keeps any insects out at the same time (but with the various handles etc windows have, I'm not sure it's possible to put this or anything similar up without some small gaps). Both been up for a day now with AC running all the time in heatwave, still in place... so far so good.

If you're in need of a means to get hot, humid air out of a room, or need a way of moving toxic exhaust fumes from equipment (3D printing, etc) away from a space, then grab yourself a big ol' hose, this window seal kit, and 10 minutes later you can actually breath clean air again! Inside the package there is the window seal material itself, which is made of a waterproof fabric, has 2 sets of zippers for 2 different exhaust pipes, and has the 'female' side of the hook-and-loop (non-brand 'Velcro') tape pre-installed for quick installation. There is also the reel of 'male' sided hook-and-loop tape, which has an adhesive backing to it, for sticking onto the window and window seal. And lastly, thankfully, a set of instructions in multiple languages, with images and tips to make installation involve fewer expletives screamed from mistakes. Installation of the window seal is a doddle, and although the instructions may seem somewhat complicated at first, it really is as simple as installing some hook-and-loop (non-brand 'Velcro') adhesive tape on the window and window frame, then sticking the window seal material to that adhesive tape. Installing can be achieved in minutes, provided you aren't intoxicated from toxic fumes whilst you're working.. It's easy to use once installed, and can be easily removed due to the hook-and-loop means of attaching. Although advertised primarily for air conditioners or tumble dryers, this window seal can be used for a wide variety of applications where you simply need ventilation. I am using it for 3D printing, fitting an exhaust system to the printer, and getting those y̶u̶m̶m̶y̶ toxic fumes out of the window. However, it can also be used as a quick and easy way of modulating air flow so you adjust the amount of air flowing through a window via the zippers, which is especially great for when you just want a slight breeze without having game force winds blistering through your house!

Die warme Luft bleibt draußen! Auch der Reißverschluss passt gut mit unserer Klimaanlage. Wir sind super zufrieden und würden den Artikel immer wieder kaufen! Auch das Ankleben ans Fenster ist simpel, das anschließende verbinden durch Klettverschluss geht schnell, wenn man es einmal verstanden hat.

Fait le job: permet de passer le tube d’air par une fenêtre à la française.

Macht was es soll. Leider sind die Klebestreifen nicht so top, wenn es warm wird lösen sie sich und beschädigen die Holzfenster oder sie kleben nicht mehr.

Satisfait du produit. L'installation est plus facile que l'ancien reçu avec le climatiseur mobile.

Livraison : Produit reçut rapidement, un dimanche, merci Amazon Prime ! Produit : Le produit était bien emballé, semble être de bonne qualité, à voir dans l'utilisation. Installation : Comptez une bonne demi-heure de galère pour installer ce produit, le scratch colle très bien à la surface de bois peint. L'installation du tissu est très long et compliqué. Il est un poil trop long pour ma fenêtre mais pas un problème. Niveau largeur, c'est trop court, en effet, avec la largeur standard des montant bois de ma fenêtre, l'ouverture entre les deux battant permet à peine de faire passer le tuyau du climatiseur, en découle un problème de fermeture qui n'est pas optimal. on regrette le manque d'une manchette permette d'épouser parfaitement le tuyaux d'évacuation. Malgré tout, il ne semble pas y a avoir de fuite d'air, ce qui permet une dépression presque qu'optimal de la pièce.
