Lineco Self-Adhesive Linen Hinging Tape, White, 1.25 Inch x 35 Feet

Sticks great, used it to bind some pages together at the spine, and it holds very well. Flexible and thin. It very strong, so it's easy to tape multiple sheets together without being too bulky. I like the linen material, it looks nice, and even used it to bind wood together for a cover. Good for anything that needs a flexible hold, and for the price you get a lot :)

This is a convenient, modern alternative to the classic linen tape I used when for archival framing when was in the picture framing industry. I used it to mount all my watercolor paintings for a recent show and love the ease and the look of the tape. Will only use this moving forward!

I appreciated being able to find archival tape to hang a painting securely. A few small pieces of this linen hanging tape securely fitted the paper to the mat inside the metal frame. I did find it somewhat difficult to separate the tape’s backing film from the linen, but I eventually got the hang of it. The tape itself was not overly sticky but did feel very secure.

This has been my go to for matting hinges as well as recently reinforcing edges of signatures. I've used other tapes labeled for the same purpose but nothing beats Lineco linen tape. Easy to use but very sturdy while not being damaging.

I'm not sure if it would hold up thicker card stock or a canvas painting, both of which I've had come loose with other acid-free tape, but this works great for photos. People have said that it's hard to peel off the paper, but the box is designed so that you only have to peel it once and then you thread the paper through a tab on the box that automatically separates the paper backing from the linen tape. I matted and framed a bunch of photos with ease. I had no trouble peeling off the tape from the mat or the photo to reposition the photo when necessary; doing so made no damage to the mat or the photo. I'm not sure if the tape would come off a thinner paper print without damage, but it might if one peeled very carefully. I don't yet know how the taping will hold up, but the tape appears to have just the right amount of adhesiveness for photos, so I'm optimistic.

I use this tape to mount photos and prints inside frames and it holds really well without leaving any damage when you need to reposition something. Being acid free is a big deal if you actually care about preserving prints over time and this tape handles that properly. A single roll lasts a really long time since you only need small strips per mount and it applies cleanly without any wrestling.

I use this particular tape to tape around the edges of my cross stitch fabrics and canvases for needlepoint and also to mount these items to different particular finishing methods whether it's to make a three-dimensional product or a framed product this acid-free tape works wonderfully for me.

This was perfect for safely attaching antique cigarette cards to the mount. I was anticipating it might be tricky, but the linen tape was very easy to use - highly recommend.

Bought this to secure a pencil drawing of my daughter’s dog - cocker spaniel - in a photograph frame to prevent any movement. So far works well. Too early to assess the effectiveness and endurance, but I am pleased with it and feel confident that it will work well. It sticks well and I only needed a small piece. I bought the bigger size as I am doing more portraits and will use this again.
