It’s very bad experience
Imagine to purchase a lens from Sony store with sigma cover !!! And when I call them they couldn’t solve my issue and to wait 5 -7 days And I hope everyone highlights this issue to the management and I will raise this complaint everywhere in social media right now

Probablement le meilleur 35mm que j'ai eu!
Après avoir utilisé les Sigma et Tamron 35mm f/1.4 en versions reflex, ainsi que d'autres plus "modestes" comme les 35mm f/1.8 G et f/2 D de Nikon ou le 35mm f/2 Zeiss Distagon, ce 35mm était pour moi l'une des grosses raisons de passer en monture E. Un 35mm d'au moins aussi bonne qualité que le Tamron f/1.4, qui était exceptionnel mais beaucoup plus gros et lourd que ce Sony. Le Sony ajoute en plus un AF de course, une construction et des fonctions haut de gamme avec bague de diaph déclicable et bouton personnalisable. La qualité est excellente dès la pleine ouverture et, alors qu'on peut penser qu'elle ne peut pas être meilleure, devient exceptionnelle en fermant seulement d'un diaph. Alors oui il coute très cher, et à moins de vouloir exploiter tous les pixels d'un A7RIV ou l'AF et la rafale d'un A1, le Sigma f/1.4 DG DN sorti quasiment en parallèle, bien que plus gros et lourd, est une alternative de choix bien moins onéreuse.

Ultimate Everyday Prime – Incredible Sharpness and Bokeh
The Sony FE 35mm f/1.4 GM is easily one of the best all-around lenses I’ve used, and it pairs perfectly with my Sony A7 V. The image quality is outstanding – extremely sharp even wide open at f/1.4, with beautiful contrast and that signature G Master look. The bokeh is smooth and natural, especially for a 35mm lens, making it great not only for street photography but also for environmental portraits. Autofocus is fast, accurate, and virtually silent, which makes it excellent for both photo and video use. On the A7 V, tracking and eye AF work flawlessly, even in more challenging light. The lens is relatively compact and lightweight for its class, so it’s very comfortable for everyday shooting. The 35mm focal length is incredibly versatile – perfect for street, travel, portraits, and even low-light or night photography. Build quality is top-tier, with a dedicated aperture ring (including a de-click option for video), AF/MF switch, and a customizable button – everything you’d expect from a G Master lens. If there’s any downside, it’s the price, but if you catch it on promotion, it becomes an excellent opportunity and a no-brainer upgrade. Overall, this is about as close as it gets to a perfect “do-it-all” prime for Sony users.

Exactly what you can expect with a GMaster lens. Superb handling, fast auto focus and sharp images. Best in its class. Makes you shoot more because of the joy in using. Highly recommend if you have the budget.
