This is almost great - it's near perfect for shampoo bars you don't want sitting and melting in water. However, the lid doesn't pop-and-seal tupperware style, it's more of a mushy press-shut, if that makes sense. I don't have any confidence in the lid staying shut or the seal.

I am trying bar shampoo and conditioner, but it was making a bit of a mess. This helps! I like the drain. It’s also good for travel. Especially works for softer soaps. I’ve washed in the dishes washer too so it’s easy to clean.

I purchased this soap container specifically for my pre-shave Glyce glycerine soap. Glycerine soap needs to dry after every use so that it does not become slimy.

This is a soap holder. It does a good job of holding a round bar of soap, it closes well and stays closed when you travel. It is flexible plastic so it washes easily and does not break. It has a soap drainer, although it is a bit too close to the bottom of the dish so the soap does not get completely dry after each use. I can’t get too worked up about a soap dish. I am happy enough with this one — it does the job it is meant to do. In the future I would probably take a gel cleanser in a small tube, rather than a bar of soap — less weight, less bulk. If you can’t live without your soap, this will work.

Good product, like the drainage it has. Haven't traveled with it yet so I don't know whether the top stays on. but it's been durable in my home
