Harry Potter Complete Collection Limited Edition Hardcover All 7 Books Box Set

I was frankly shocked... happily... when I received this set. At the time of ordering I was asked two questions: my favorite color and given a number of animals to choose my favorite. My Chinese Birth Sign being a Dragon-in-the-Rain, I chose a dragon, and the color red, my lifelong above-all favorite. It seemed strange they'd ask at all. The books arrived -- the fastest shipment I have EVER encountered -- in a fabulous hard case of red (seems like linen fabric with hard boards) with an utterly beautiful gold embossed DRAGON lounging over the sides of the case. I've never received such a beautiful set of books. AND THEN there's the Harry Potter part... I strongly recall those scenes with the utterly abused and terribly beautiful dragon.. always wondered if he made it to a safe dragon haven. Apparantly, in these books I will learn the answer to that question. This set is a small investment in something worth handing down after you have enjoyed reading and re-reading. Then, inside the case, I found the hardcover books have heavy full color dust covers with illustrations! Amazing artwork and quality, just a generous extra touch. These books are slightly smaller than full size traditional hardbacks and I appreciated that too as I have small hands. Reading for hours holding large heavy books is an exercise in discipline. These books are light, lovely, the print is clear and crisp. Heirloom quality for those whom properly respect and care for them. Limited edition... better hurry to get your own, this set will NOT be showing up on ebay as resales, I'm sure. It's a keeper!

Amazing value; such a beautiful, sturdy collection and so fun to have the original British print!! Only two minor complaints, there was a small tear on the seam of the red box, and the words/print in the longer books is quite small. Otherwise couldn’t be more delighted!! Bonus: the cover artwork is so much better on these than the American version!! Much more true to the character descriptions in the book and a lot prettier.

I LOVE this set. I was worried about the price, but oh my god is it gorgeous. I got these to replace my ‘collector’s set’ of American hardbacks that I hated because they were poorly constructed and always felt like the spines were on the verge of coming apart. I wanted to try the British versions, so I got these. First- the size! They are so small and lightweight, making them easy to handle, but they seem sturdy so far. Second- the aesthetics! Pictures truly don’t do the cover art justice- the detail and richness of color is mesmerizing. The books also look nice, though obviously more understated, without the dust jackets. Finally- the box! I thought I wouldn’t care about the box, but it’s beautiful. The case also came well-protected in three packing layers (cardboard box, bubble wrap, shrink wrap.) All in all, if you’re looking for a really nice, visually appealing set that’s also well-made and feels good in the hands, it’s worth the money. (At least so far!)

This is an absolutely beautiful set of the original British version of Harry Potter from Bloomsbury publishers. I took a chance ordering these as there was the single stock photo and no customer photos when I purchased these. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. Every book has the original artwork dustcover and matching colour hardcover with the iconic HP stars embossed on the cover. The display box is actually well built and suited for this set; also embossed in gold with a dragon and HP flying on a broom on the back. If you are a purist like myself you will definitely appreciate that this includes the Philosophers Stone, not the Americanized Sorcerers Stone. Overall great set for older fans or even as a gift to give to someone to get them into the series.

The collection I was looking for to accompany my US collection.

The only thing that would make this set better is if they were signed. The box was not damaged during shopping. The books are all well-bound. I’m in love with it!

This set is soooo beautiful! Yes, the books are just a tad smaller than the American hard cover version, but in my opinion, that makes them more attractive and easier to hold. Bought the set as a gift for my teenage daughter and she cherishes it! The set definitely makes a very special gift. The presentation box looks gorgeous on a shelf.

My daughter LOVES THE BOOKS! I bought this for my daughter for her birthday and it arrived on her birthday which was amazing. The box is beautiful the gold foiling and the red looks awesome together. The books are incredible . They have creative covers and when you touch the books they are soft. The books came in perfectly fine there was no damages. I would recommend to buy this book set.
