rom&nd Better Than Palette 102g (04 Dusty Fog Garden) V1

I already own Rosebud Garden and have had it for at least 4 years, so I picked up Dusty Fog Garden because I wanted a more neutral, muted option. I rotate between a lot of palettes and still haven’t hit pan on my Rosebud Garden, so these last a long time for me. Pros: - Really pretty taupe, gray-brown, and muted mauve shades - Buildable rather than overly pigmented, which makes them easy to control - Blends really well — I usually apply eyeshadow with my fingers and these work great that way - Nice for soft everyday or smoky cool-toned looks - Complements Rosebud Garden without feeling redundant - You get a lot of use out of the palette before hitting pan Cons: - The lighter shades are pretty subtle - Not the best choice if you want very bold or highly pigmented eyeshadow - Several shades are similar, so it’s more about creating variations of the same muted look than getting a ton of variety Overall, I’m really happy I added this to my collection. If you already like Rom&nd’s eyeshadow formula and want something more neutral than Rosebud Garden, this is a really nice option.

I was previously using custom eye palettes from MAC and Bobbi Brown to create my own brow+liner quad before both brands scaled back and discontinued the cool toned grey-brown shades with the right balance of pigment (not to strong, not too weak or patchy) that I used. This Romand palette in the shade "Dusty Fog Garden" has been PERFECT for filling my eyebrows (I prefer powder and the variety of shades make it more natural to both shade in and create brow strokes using the darker shades with a liner brush), as powder eyeliner, and the shades mix well to create a natural nose contour (not bronzer). The formula is smooth and pigmented but not intensely so, which makes it versatile as a buildable and customizable contour product. With the settling spray and eye primer I use for any product, my makeup stays in place without touch ups all day. Some of the intended brow powders on the market come off a little too harsh and I've always preferred eyeshadows in particular shades for my cool-toned, black-brown brows. Not to mention the price for Romand is really good for the quality and shades you get. Before I came across this, I was considering buying another cook-toned brow+liner shade palette from another brand for $30+ for half the shades of this Romand one. I also thought about building a new Mac quad and just settling for colors they currently offer that I could try to make work but that was easily $50+ for a custom quad, without even the perfect light-cool grey color. The palette is pretty compact for travel or makeup bag storage and fills multiple makeup needs with this one palette. I don't often go out of my way to write reviews, but I really needed to share my appreciation for this and I hope this particular shade doesn't get discontinued! I cannot tell you how much time I've put into looking for replacements for the custom shadow colors I was using previously (I got them first when palettes and single shadows were more common) and I'm so relieved to have found these before running completely out. I'm really debating if I should have a backup of Dusty Fog because I'm a little paranoid about having to restart my search for the right eyeshadow palette...

I got the Mahogany Garden. They shipped quickly and in perfect condition. The Mahogany Garden palette looks exactly like the sample photos online: 4 glittery and 6 muted colors. They are a true neutral, not very pigmented but give a soft color payout that looks good on my warm pale/light medium complexion. However, there is fallout (which is common for the "natural" looking KBeauty makeup brands). I had to tap my brush to make sure none of the excess fell into me eye. I wouldn't recommend putting a lot of the large glitter flakes on your eye because they're huge and its very easy for it fall if you don't use any eyeshadow primer. A few large glitter flakes fell onto my cheek while I was applying it on my upper eyelid, so keep in mind of that. The regular tiny flaked shimmers are fine. They were easy to apply and blend. They give a smooth finish that clings for long hours. I've had mine last all day from afternoon to late night without using eyeshadow primer. And it comes off easily with makeup wipes too. Great for everyday wear or makeup beginners who want to start with a natural "no makeup" makeup look. Aside from that, they travel very well. I've been carrying it as my travel eyeshadow while away from home, and they're still in great condition. Here's a photo of what the palette looks like after one use.

The rom&nd Better Than Palette in Pampas Garden is a lovely neutral palette with warm, earthy tones that blend easily and work well for everyday makeup. The shimmer shades have nice pigmentation, though a couple of the matte shades need a bit more buildup. Great pan size for the price, and it travels well. Docking one star only because the packaging feels a little delicate for daily use.

The Mise Rom&nd Better Than Eye Palette in 00 Light and Glitter Garden has quickly become one of my all-time favorite beauty products, and I can't recommend it enough! Every time I wear it, I get tons of compliments on how stunning my eyes look. The colors are vibrant, and the glitter is absolutely gorgeous without being overwhelming or too much for everyday wear. One of the best things about this palette is that the glitter doesn’t fall under your eyes throughout the day, which is a common issue with many glitter shadows. It stays in place perfectly, adding just the right amount of sparkle. And when it’s time to remove it, it comes off easily with micellar water, no scrubbing required. The versatility of this palette is another huge plus for me. I even use the shades on my cheeks and under my eyes for a bright, dewy look, and it blends beautifully! I usually apply the shadows with my fingers, and a little goes a long way. The colors are rich and pigmented, giving me the exact look I want every time. I can't emphasize enough how much I love this palette! Whether you're using it for a soft everyday look or a more dramatic, glittery style, it's a great addition to any makeup collection. It’s beautiful, easy to work with, and long-lasting—an absolute must-have

I am a very pale girly. I often have to purchase the lightest shade of foundation available in any line, and my undertone is somewhere between cool and pink. Because of this, eyeshadow palettes containing nudes/neutral tones often end up looking a little darker and warmer on me. I have a pretty extensive collection of eyeshadows because I'm a makeup hoarder, (although not nearly to the extent that a lot of beauty gurus are) and, while going through my palettes, I realized that just about all of my neutrals were on the warmer side. I have really been wanting to go for a look that mimics real shadow on the skin/runs cooler. I knew I wanted all mattes because of that, and I had been gifted that mini Urban Decay Basics palette with all mattes years ago, but found it dry and chalky and ended up discarding it. I've been looking on Ulta and Sephora for a cool-toned palette, but all of the palettes I'd found were either too expensive, had shimmers that I knew I wouldn't use, or had a weird color story. When I saw the picture for the Fog Garden palette, I knew that it was EXACTLY what I wanted. Versatile, straightforward, and perfect for everyday use. I initially was unsure about how pigmented this would be because I know a lot of Asian beauty trends prefer simplicity and subtlety over some of the more dramatic trends in America and other Western countries, but after reading the reviews, I was assured that that wouldn't be an issue. Honestly, this purchase has definitely made me eager to try more Korean brands, especially since they often cater to paler skin (which can obviously be problematic for darker-skinned consumers, and I do hope some of the Asian beauty brands expand the color range of their base makeup so their products are more accessible). The quality of this product in particular is wonderful; they are buttery soft shadows that blend smoothly and are plenty pigmented. They blend into each other beautifully, and the color story of Fog Garden is perfect for taking a subtle look and making it more dramatic. It's especially good as a companion palette to an all-shimmers/glitter/colorful shades palette, as a lot of these shades are perfect as transitions and good for layering. Overall, I am wholly in love with this palette, and would definitely recommend it.

Pretty palette but came broken and didn't get to give it to my daughter for her birthday :(

Colores super lindos, los glitters la vdd si estan algo grandesitos pero tienen sensación cremosa. Las sombras son super lindas y genuinamente me gusta como se difuminan, aunque si buscas que el color sea muy fuerte. Este no sería una paleta para tí. Para el uso diario viene excelente y compacta
