Can these be submerged underwater in a fish aquarium?

I would say no. The stick type vine has just a foam type coating so it definitely won't work in water. As for the plants, they might work fine in water as they are plastic but I would definitely clean them first. My concern would be microplastics but the plants should be fine in water but not the posable vine. Hope that helps.

What is the weight limit for the branch? Can a full size iguans climb on it safely?

No...our bearded dragon (body length is about 8 inches not including the tail) can climb on the thickest part of it, but rarely does. There's also nothing to secure it to anything. We have it pushed through a hole on his hammock and bent down to the bottom of the terrarium. It's nowhere near big enough for a full sized iguana. It's wire inside which is cool, but it's really more for decoration. It would only suit a baby lizard for climbing.

Can it be put in a 20 gallon tree frog habitat?

I thought so. This simulated branch has a naturalistic look that is best suited to small critters like geckos, chameleons, snake, frogs and arboreal animals.
