Proper Russell Hobbs design and build
Love this kettle. It was a replacement for an identical one which I’d had and used for years. I have the toaster so they’re a great match. It is so easy to use, not noisy like some kettles, takes no time at all to heat and boil enough for a pot of tea. It looks great, is proper Russell Hobbs design and build with a well fitting easily recoverable lid. It looks good on my kitchen worktop and sort of matches the ridges of my Portmeirion Sophie Conran plates.

Replaced same kettle after 4.5 yrs with older one
Ordered as a replacement for our 4.5yr R&H of this exact model which served us well. Got the same one even though we live in Australia and this is the UK version, everything is practically the same including voltage. Arrived quicker than expected.

I bought this kettle for an elderly relative . A few weeks later my kettle packed up and I did not hesitate to buy another one like this as I was so impressed with it when using it at theirs. It is comfortable to hold,pours nicely,boils quickly,not noisy,lid comes off easily to fill, and looks really trendy in my kitchen. I have the grey one. It is superb value for money and I highly recommend it. Other buyers have said they taste a “plastic taste” . I have not experienced this at all. All in all, a great kettle.

Lovely kettle
Have liked this kettle since my son bought it 2 years ago but in white, i wanted one in red and the only place selling in that colour was Amazon, I know some buyers have had issues with a plastic taste but I honestly haven’t. The reason I purchased this plastic kettle apart from it being a really nice looking kettle and matching my other kitchen accessories is because we live in a hard water area and all the metal kettles I’ve had in the last few years (about 5) looked really awful after about 6-12 months with limescale about the lid which was impossible to remove without removed the paint, so chucked them all away. So far I’m very pleased with it!
