Sugar wax princess
Easy to use! I first tried sugar waxing professionally and looking back I wish I had purchased this sooner. This is so helpful to use for underarms and gives a break from shaving! Patience is a virtue though and now that I’ve been using this for a month or two, I’ll definitely buy more. It helps with discoloration/lightening with the easy waxing instead of using razor blades.

First time user for sugar wax. Good but please read on for my personal tips!
I had a dilemma today. I needed to wax today and realized that I forgot to order my usual wax kit on Amazon in advance. I looked for a possible same day delivery in my area and came across this one. As usual, I read through the reviews to see if this will be a good fit for me. I read many complaints about how sticky and messy this sugar wax is and how it doesn’t pick up all the hairs. However I bit the bullet and decided to take a chance since I’m on a time crunch. It is my first time using sugar wax so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’ve been waxing for about 3 years now, and even though I don’t consider myself a professional by any means, I thought I would take out the time to give some advice as I was able to have a good waxing experience with Parissa organic sugar wax. Before I give you my tips, please read their instruction pamphlet. Please buy a wax warmer - I cannot imagine doing waxing without one. Here are my tips: 1) Set the intention of having a good waxing experience. Get your phone/tablet and put some music on or if you’re like me, make this a time to listen to a self improvement podcast. 2) Find an old bed sheet that you don’t mind getting dirty and lay it on the floor where you will wax. Buy parchment paper and set some sheets where you will be waxing. Have baby powder, and a scissor to be able to cut your strips for the right size when doing smaller areas. They say that the strips with this kit are reusable since you can wash them. Sorry but that’s a bit too much for me. I’d rather stick to buying more strips and throwing them out after one use. Home waxing is much cheaper than a professional wax at a salon. You will need extra wax strips. Buy an extra set and always have one more just in case you need it. Don’t reuse the same strip if you’re trying to avoid messy situations or irritated skin/brushing. 3) Have proper lighting! Great lighting goes a long way. 4) Have a paper bag on the side exclusively to throw out your used strips. 5) Have a standing face mirror and tweezer available for any quick plucking if needed. 6) I use coconut oil afterwards and lather it on my skin to remove any wax and it also leaves your skin very soft. Go take a shower and you are all done till next time! I hope these tips will help any beginners out there who are struggling with home waxing and remember that you will become better each time you do it. Have patience and save lots of $$$ doing it for yourself and also not missing any spots at all!

Not good for thick hair; does not pull from root and does not pull cleanly from skin.
Not good for thick or course/stubborn hairs. It didn't pull out from the root, only the surface. I even used in areas were hairs were not thick and again it wasn't strong enough to pull from the root. It also stays tacky and sticky so if your skins warm or if there is any humidity in your room, it wont pull off cleanly no matter how tightly you hold your skin. Only good think about this is that it is water soluable so it wipes of clean with warm water. I would no recommend for thick hair at all. You will be left with patches and the hair will still be in the root and grow back quicker. I even used for my eyebrows where the hair is finer and it also did not wax cleanly or get any of the fine hairs.

Good Stuff
I'm a blonde. We are furry. This wax has a bit of a learning curve. Not too hot, not too thick. It is stiick, but it washes away easy. Helpful if you get some where you don't want it. Apply with the growth, pull against the growth holding counter tension. It does miss a few hairs, but overall, 98% is gone. I'm only using this for my face so far, but may try my forearms. I recommend.

Fine hair only
Works great on fine hair. Not for course hair.

Still the easiest one to use and comes with everything you need
Actually spent me awhile trying to find this product on Amazon again since I bought the first one 2 years ago and that product page expired. Several things made me decide to leave a positive review. First, this product comes with everything you need as a beginner, spatula (though only like 1 of each size but you can wash and reuse anyway) and enough amount of epilation strips. Also you don’t need to buy a separate heater since this is microwavable. Besides all of that, I personally prefer sugar wax wayyyy more than traditional wax since personally the residue cleansing part after using traditional wax can be very irritating but for sugar wax I can just wash it off in shower without leaving a mess. So all in all, I really like the product and it does the job in a less painful than expected way. I just wish it comes in more product as the value of the tub in this kit is slightly on the more pricey side.

Organic hair removal kit reliable
If you’re first timer to waxing, read the instructions before you experiment. There’s a certain to sugar and pull. Overall it’s really easy to use. Organic product makes it safe for your skin. The cloth is reusable after wash. I already finished this and now onto the professional. Would repeat this order again and again.

Good after a few goes to get it right
If you have never waxed at home before, this definitely takes some trial and error. A lot of comments saying to apply it AGAINST the hair growth... don't do this. Apply it DOWN your leg (not up), and tear the strip UPWARDS, and use a THIN layer; really get it warmed up, don't use it thick. The thinner the layer the better. 3rd go doing it and my results for legs and armpits are awesome and barely hurts unlike the first time, and the strip things can just be rinsed and dried. Do recommend - you just have to get the hang of it. Sad about the price hike on this one; happy to buy on special.

Ride or Die Wax option: inexpensive, easy and a dream to clean!
This product is such a great alternative to studio waxing or other strips that are one use only. For years, I was using the very popular brand that uses strips that you don’t have to heat up, and is available at most box store. I thought that they were cost-effective as well as pretty OK for the result for the price point. Then I decided to give these a try! You definitely get a ton of uses out of the product I think probably I could use this six times in total and it would take care of essentially an entire summer and full of wax sessions. Something that would easily cost $300 at a studio or $50 with the other brand. The other piece that I really like about it is that it’s so easy to clean up your legs afterwards. With some of the other at home products, I would have to plan in advance because it almost need two days of scrubbing my legs to get all the extra bits off, despite my best efforts. This washes off in one go and it’s so easy to do. I find myself waxing more regularly. The only downside to the product and, it’s not a big issue for me: It does take a little bit more cleanup because you wash the strips after. This is actually super easy and honestly the strips look brand new when you’re done. I don’t mind the extra five minutes of doing this. I feel like I save the time with not having to scrub my legs. I have definitely found my go to replacement with these! I would recommend when you use the product to use a thin amount as well as not a wide amount on your leg and just be OK with using lots of strips. I’d also say make sure that when you wax you are pulling at an angle. This gets the best results!

Works well. Removed my underarm hair with no issue
Happy to find this wax. I was looking for a cruelty free wax and am happy this is leaping bunny certified. It comes with two large wooden stick and a smaller one which I assume if for the upper lip area/small areas. First I washed my underarms with soap and dried them well. I then placed the wax container on a microwave safe plate & heated the wax as the instructions said for 20 seconds at 10 sec intervals but I found the wax was still hard. So I heated it for 20 seconds and then 30 seconds and it made the wax warm enough. I stirred it a little and let it cool for a while until it was not as liquidy and not too hot. I applied a thin layer to my underarms and quickly applied the strip. Rubbed it good for a bit. Ripped it off in the direction of the hair and it came off. Not sure it removed the hair from the roots but it took it off. I'm glad I didn't need to shave as I don't have a lot of hair anyways since I had laser before. The wax left no irritation, has no smell and the ingredient list is simple & natural. Also it comes with a good amount of strips and I cut them in half so it was easier to use. Cleanup was also very easy. The wax was easy to wash off and the wooden stick was also easy to clean off for more uses. Product is also made in Canada which is nice.
