Q: Are all parts stainless steel, particularly inside where it matters? Some seem to have aluminum parts inside. Thanks.

The only part that appears to be aluminum is the handle on the reducer. The reducer is a small disc that fits into the coffee holder, reducing its capacity in half. The reducer itself is stainless steel. Note that most moka pots don't come with a reducer, and the reducer is very easy to clean by hand, so this shouldn't be a concern.

Ciaothe Ilsa pots are made in Italy.

Q: does the coffee container have to be filled to compacity for it to work right? or can you add less is you want less than 3 cups made? thanks
