Stop the Smell of a flush!
This is the 3rd one I have bought. It is an easy d.i.y install. It works well to stop the smell that you get outside when you flush marine and camper toilets. These last for about one season. They work so well that you immediately know when they need replacing.

Great value for our specific need
Perfect fit, and much less expensive than others that have multiple connectors options. Our marine tank has standard female garden hose swivel connections that this screws right onto and snapped right into competitors bracket. $100 cheaper buying 2 more soon.

the activated charcoal in this device is absolutely necessary to control foul odors from black water holding tank (sewage tank) on air vent that exits overboard on a boat with such a tank onboard. These tubes of activated charcoal are unreasonably expensive, but this one was less expensive. Access to replace the old one will vary with each boat. Appreciate fast shipping from this seller.

The smell is unbearable
Its a simple device, designed to remove some of the stink from a holding tank vent. The Dometic version is 3x the cost, so I tried this one. The bottom line is, it doesn't work. Maybe it reduces the smell from level 5 (nearby people vomit instantly) to a 4.5, where everyone nearby has a moderate dry heave. I put a new Dometic filter on and zero smell. Save your money and buy the Dometic filter.
