This STAGG Accessory Tray is a very nice, quality piece. AND it came with a really nice protective pouch! I was not expecting that! The tray is all metal (but is not heavy) and the bottom is lined with some sort of cushioned felt/fabric. For years I'd been using one of those plastic trays with a built-in cup holder. The kind that sort of wraps around the mic stand. These are fine if you 1) use a straight mic stand (vs. a boom stand) and 2) need a cup holder. If you're using a straight stand chances are you're closer to the stand and therefore in better reach of the tray. The problem for me was 1) I use a boom stand and therefore my older tray was a bit hard to reach when I needed something quickly from the tray, and 2) I don't need a cup holder so that was wasted space for me. Speaking of space, I've been downsizing my entire rig lately, including my gig bag. The compact size of the STAGG tray fits perfectly in my smaller bag. Similar trays on the market have clamps and/or knobs, etc., sticking out in ways that make them problematic to fit in tight gig bags. Sounds trivial, but it's one of the things I had to consider since I'm downsizing. The STAGG tray clamp has a plastic tip on the end of the screw so as not to scratch your stand when tightening. A good tip is, don't tighten too much. It really does not need to be clamped down tight to stay on your stand. Just a little pressure is all it takes. Very happy with this tray!

Mittlerweile habe ich in meinem kleinen Studio schon 3 von den Dingern in Benutzung. Ablage für Plecs und andere kleine Musikutensilien. Die Teile sind einfach klasse!

Je l'ai acheté pour poser un appareil de photo . Sa conception permet d'éviter de glisser et de tomber. C'est donc un gain de place en plus, utile, et sécurisant. Bien-sûr, il est multifonctionnel . Je recommande fortement.
