Plot good, writing bad
I have read all 8 books and wish I could give them more stars but the author's lack of attention to the details she provided plus the lowering quality of the writing stops me. I maybe odd but I catch details and it drives me nuts when an author doesn't stick to them. I.e.: Benji kidnapped in March, 1836 and kind in May, 1840, 4 years later but changed that to give years. In this book which starts in October, 1849, says James is 23 and set fire to Graham house at age 15, 6 years ealier, making him 21 not 23. Matt's twins are said to be 15 when Matt and Hannah married a week after meeting 14 years earlier! In book 6 which takes place six months earlier, their age is given as 12. Little things I guess but they irk me and lower the enjoyment of the books. As far as the story itself, I liked James. Cat was a little too Manish especially with some of the cuss words she used. I liked how James stated strong while supporting Cat.A good proofreader to correct all the details and grammatical errors showing up in these last books and I would give five stars.

Great story - really bad editing
Good story. Enjoyed the book. Writer needs to hire someone to do a better job of editing.

Another hit
I've read every Circle Eight novel. Every time I start one I wonder how the author can make the story any better than the last time and you know what? She has. Catherine and James' story was as exciting as one could hope for. Her love for her horses and James' love for Catherine made for an epic adventure and then...love triumphed. What more can you ask for?

Very good reading
Emma Lang writes with excitement that makes you read until you can't read any more. I read until my eyes hurt. I hope she writes another Circle Eight, let me know. Great reading!

Emma Lang - Circle 8 series
I loved the series of the circle 8 family, ready for the last one "Benjamin". Everyone of the books is a love story, a thrilling crime fighting story of the Wild West, and realistic tells the way of life back long ago!

absolutely fabulous book
I have read all the circle eight books and as usual this was a great read. Plenty of action and danger and of course a sweet and sexy romance. It was good to revisit all the characters from the previous books and I'm looking forward to the next instalment
