My old chalkboard for back to school was fading and it no longer looked nice. I went searching for a new back to school board and found this one. It was in my price range and looked cute. I had never used Chalk marker before, but I now love it. So easy to clean compared to regular chalk. The colors are vibrant too. I ordered the chalk marker separately on Amazon as they do not come with the board. The Timart Liquid Chalk Markers work really well with this board. I highly recommend this board for back to school and last day pics.

YOU NEED LIQUID CHALK MARKERS. This is very high quality, looks great, but it is NOT chalkboard texture. It won't work with chalk. It has to be liquid chalk pens or markers or whatever. But it works great with those and wipes off perfectly clean.

Good for our daycare business

This is a really nice First Day of School board! The design is colorful, the size is perfect for photos, and I love that it's double-sided and reusable, so it can be used for both the first and last day of school each year. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it's a little tricky to find the right marker to use. Some markers don't write well or are difficult to erase cleanly, so it took a bit of trial and error. Once I found a compatible dry-erase marker, it worked much better. Overall, it's a great keepsake and makes back-to-school photos extra special. Just be prepared to use the right type of marker for the best experience.

Love this board for my children. I use it every year and it is thick and good quality. Has lasted 5 years so far and plan on using for many more.

This is a hard one to review because technically, it does not work as it says. However, it DOES work if you use a different method. This is NOT a traditional chalkboard. It looks and feels plastic. If you write on it with chalk marker (what I tested with) and try to erase it with a chalk eraser or paper towel it will not erase cleanly. HOWEVER, alcohol wipes clean it quickly and easily without damaging the color or design of the board. I completely recommend this item, as long as you know to buy wipes too. I think the listing should be updated to reflect this too

Perfect for every year of school

I’m a teacher and I loved this board because it has minimal information to write for each student and is easy to just pass along! Note it’s only one board and double sided for first day and last day! I didn’t realize this but I actually like it better as I don’t have to worry about losing one of them
