A grid so perfect only a rubber stamp could make it
Stamps everything in sight. Always the same rectangle with lines in it, the ability to create perfect reproductions each time it is used is uncanny. Can be used on paper, cardboard, skin, and your little brothers neck when he's not looking. Just the right size, 8 or 9 stampings can be used across the width of the average american notebook paper (8.5 inches wide - none of that metric slop for us still living under the thumb of imperial weights and measures,) So unless you're writing an opera for banjo, your probably gonna still have plenty of space for lyrics and notes on that same page. While mostly used to write guitar or other 6 stringed instrument chords, it can be used to create a grid for playing a massive game of tic-tac-toe should you battery die on your phone. For the incredibly patient it can be used to create a very geometricly patterned wall paper. I think I've done all the hard work here of explaining exactly what you are in for should you purchase this bit of rubber and wood, but did I mention you can use it with any color of ink, yes it will stamp an entire rainbow if you let it. The only way it could be improved is if it were glow in the dark, autoinking and could write harmony lines in a pinch. Though to be fair most other rubber stamps cannot do any of these things and yet people are perfectly happy with them. Low expectations or just the way it is? You decide..

Does the job
When I encounter a new chord in a music book I like to sketch it on the page (along with the specific finger positions) to make it a permanent part of the book. Until I acquired this stamp, this practice required a time consuming hand drawing (I do things neatly and so take my time). I use this stamp with red ink and it works perfectly for my purposes. One piece of advice: use a good quality ink pad. Don't scrimp.

Nice stamp image but difficult to position.
The stamp image is very nice but I find it very difficulty to place image exactly where I want it on my page. The wood block and rubber stamp are not really aligned. Do, where I think the stamp is going to appear, it does not. Small for what is a nice stamp image and very useful for when Iโm composing guitar pieces.

works great
perfect size for me, also the lines are fine enough to look sharp, not blurry but also thick enough to be seen without my reading glasses. Its not self inking, so you need to buy a separate ink pad. I love it for being able to quickly stamp a visual chord on some music tabs.

Very useful.
Just the right size to use either on the music sheets, themselves or on a follow-along set of notes beside the music. Not too big and not too small. Inks well on the supplied pad and stamps clearly. You get what you think you're going to get (that's good!)

Exactly what I needed to help me remember fingerstyle fingerings
One of the important tasks when learning a new fingerstyle song is to develop efficient fingering. I can work it out for each measure but until I practice enough for them to become ingrained muscle memory they trip me up. By having these placed above the tablature I know where I need to be at a glance. And, sometimes while learning a tune I come up with fingerings that work better for me. No problem, erase the pencil marks and put in the new ones! Some have complained that the stamp isn't perfectly aligned with the wood handle. I don't see that as an issue: when stamping a new diagram I simply look to the rubber's side and place it where I want it. No big deal at all if the diagram is tilted a bit; I really don't care.

Just the right, reasonable size.
I can use a standard sized ball point pen to mark the fingering, this is small, but not mini. A very clear print and just the right size. Looks well made.

Crisp stamping, but crooked
Stamp perfectly sized and makes a great template for marking alternative finger positions, but stamp rubber is crooked compared to the wood block it is attached to. Able to compensate for it by rotating slightly, just look to see if you need to do the same.
