Scosche UAKP Kwik Plug 8 AWG Quick Release Power Connector for Amplifiers and Active Bass Enclosures

I dreamed this up in my mind long before I knew these existed. When I stumbled upon it, I had to get one- and it doesn't disappoint in any way. With a Ford Expedition, I have my amp mounted onto my subwoofer box, which I have ratchet-strapped to the 3rd row seat mounting points. Every time I had to drop the back seats to haul something large, I lost 15-20 minutes disconnecting and reconnecting the amplifier wiring each time. In addition to time, this was adding unwanted wear & tear to the cables, which has now been eliminated. Now this process only takes seconds- there could not possibly be a better or easier solution. The connection is very sturdy and couldn't possibly separate inadvertently. Although I didn't have a location for mounting the power side of the cabling, the mounting holes allow the amplifier end to be fitted securely onto the subwoofer box.

A very sturdy connector. It was easy to insert and tighten the cables in. It solved my problem of having to be disconnecting the amplifier every time I needed the space in my trunk. The connection is solid and does its job perfectly.

Little pricey, but makes the sub / amp combo so simple to remove if i need space.
