I've read online you can powder coat wood. saw some even powder coated they said glass coke bottles. is this true & if so how?

Moisture in the wood would kill a powder coat if not done properly. I recommend you stay away. If anything seal it and use epoxy. As for the coke bottles, yes but you need to bead blast glass for good adhesion
