5 stars for the latex cuticle guard theory. One star for my left-handed painting abilities, zero stars for my patience. It takes time, patience and some precision to use it properly. Obviously if you get the latex on your nails the polish doesn't adhere to your nails in those spots. Personally, I lack the patience required for "at home nail polish art" and I must need to be held hostage in a salon to achieve great looking fingernails. I applied, removed, reapplied the latex multiple times because it seemed to take forever to dry - my fingers kept sticking to each other removing the latex when I tried painting it on my other hand. I'm not exaggerating- it took me over an hour just to paint latex on one hand, let it dry with my fingers outstretched 🖐 then carefully paint my other hand and letting it dry the same way. I mostly wanted the latex on my fingertips underneath my nails to keep the white tip "French manicure" polish from bleeding under my nails and cuticle edges. Three hours later I was using a cuticle stick, wrapped in tiny bits of cotton, dipped in nail polish remover to clean up my "at home manicure". Maybe it's easier to use if you're painting it on someone else's nails, so I'll invite my daughter over, take her car keys away and force her to sit still for a couple of hours (😉)

This gel polish liquid latex is a must-have for anyone who does their nails at home. It makes cleanup so much easier by protecting the skin around your nails during polish application. The peel-off formula works perfectly and doesn't irritate my skin at all. The 15ML bottle is a great size and will last for many manicures. I'm so glad I found this product as it has made my nail routine much more professional looking.

It works well and creates a good barrier that’s easy to peel off. However, it smells kind of bad.

I was skeptical to try this but it actually does work. You apply a thin coat around your nail and let it dry for 1-2 minutes. Once dry, the latex will become solid. This makes clean up a breeze. 💅 There are a few draw backs though. First, it's tedious to remove the latex. You have to be careful to separate the latex from the coat as it can peel up with it. My first go round with this was not great because I didn't let my nails dry enough before removing the latex. Second, this stuff is really tacky once dried. Be careful what you touch. Overall, I'm satisfied with the quality of the product especially since I won't have to waste any more q-tips to clean up my edges!

This works really well. It's a cool gadget to make your nail journey "easier". But if you have the adhesive too close to your actual nail, once you peel it off at the end of your at home nail appointment, it can peel off the nail polish. It has a smell, but works well for beginners.

While the product itself worked as advertised, I didn't really like how quickly it dries. Yes, this can absolutely be a plus, but the latex tends to dry up on the brush too quickly, leading to chunkiness and uneven application. Most of us ordering this product do it because we struggle with messiness in application, so applying it exactly how we want to on the first try is going to be really hard. You either need to make absolutely sure the first layer has dried off before adding more (and even then, you can still melt off that layer with the wet latex) or just deal with the chunkiness. The reason why I'm giving it 5 stars with all this, is because this is still a better product than most liquid latex for nails out there. Yes, it gets chunky, sure, but that is hard to avoid with ANY liquid latex product. And at the end of the day, if you take your time and do it slowly, it absolutely works for what it's intended for. Doing French tips has never been easier (although I still need to go in with acetone to clean it up afterwards, still gets most of the work done). Another bonus is that the little pick it comes with is really cute, and the blunt end works as a cuticle pusher. I do use it to take off the latex and works as intended. It's overall really good for what you can expect from a liquid latex protector.

i've bought other brands Liquid latex before and they were not great, nor did they last very long before clumping up despite proper sealing and storing. This one i really like though - it dries fast if you apply it thinly. I use it particularly to protect my cuticle area and sidewalls from myself when doing my nails and its great! The applicator seems smoother than for example the one that the Saviland LL bottle had and this one glides over my the areas i apply it to. smell can get a bit overwhelming for my sensitive nose though - always find liquid latex has a fishy smell to it.

goes on white, dries clear. good size brush applicator. you dont have to use a lot to get a good peel. I applied a thin layer, took about 2 minutes to dry and peeled easily without snapping or breaking. would recommend, would buy again.

This product is amazingly good and useful! Those bad reviews that says it removes the gel it simply because they didn't follow the instructions right. Super easy to use... 1.Shake it before use it 2. Apply just once and a light layer on the skin around the nail and cuticle. Make sure that it won't come in contact with your nail. 3. With the little stick that comes with it, push any excess or product on the nail out. 4. Wait at least 1 minute 5. Proceed to do your nails. Just make sure your base coat or nail color don't touch the skin with latex. If it does, correct it with the stick. 6. Once finished with your nail application, start to scrap the latex from inside out. (it's like scratching with the flat end of the stick). It will come right out easily It completely change my nail application process. I was able to do ombre nails and decoration without any issue and super fast. I had it done on my first try without problems Only con is, it does smell bad, but if you use a thin layer, smell goes away as it dries
