Do not buy in the UK!
Was surprised to find out that this is incompatible with UK British blu ray players. Strange considering there was another 1 star review that said it was incompatible in the US.

Only german and korean subtitles available understand only having korean and German audio but there should subs for more languages

Bought this because I liked this director from South Korea. Really good movie. One thing about being old and needing subtitles, you can branch out and watch more foreign films. Came fast, excellent condition.

Excellent movie
Excellent movie unfortunately based on real events. Not sure how to describe what makes the movie so good as it contains violent and heartbreaking material. But the same director’s movie The Host is also an all time favorite of mine and is about a monster terrorizing a city, another genre I normally avoid.As an aside, I didn’t like his Parasite movie at all, despite its awards.Second disc contains interviews w staff and cast that are very interesting demonstrating the moviemaking process and the care taken w period details. Actors did work normally relegated to stunt actors and were also invited to participate in filming.

Memories of Murder ist ein packender Film, der mit einer tiefgründigen und fesselnden Geschichte überzeugt. Die Charaktere sind vielschichtig, und das Schauspiel ist auf höchstem Niveau – jede Emotion wirkt authentisch. Besonders beeindruckend ist, wie der Film trotz seines ernsten Themas immer wieder kleine Momente von Humor einbaut, die das Ganze noch menschlicher wirken lassen. Ein starkes Werk, das lange im Gedächtnis bleibt.

Tremenda experiencia
Muchos se van a confundir con el inicio y los primeros 50 minutos de comedia y torpeza de algunos personajes. Pero recuerden “Parasites” el final va a ser una explosión de emociones que difícilmente vivirán con otra película. El final te deja dando vueltas la cabeza por días y noches enteras. Imperdible para los amantes del buen cine.
