Works great for sore throat or dry mouth.
I didn't like the citrus flavor. I prefer cherry but it wasn't available.

Works well
I have been using this for years and find it works well Iโve never used this flavor before I normally get the cherry. This is much milder, which was good because Iโm having a mouth problem and anything too strong would of stung. The price is right because they wanted a lot more like five or six dollars more and another retailer. The time it took a fill my order was long longer than I would expect.

A good old standby
This stuff works great. Soothes the throat. Quiets the cough. I always keep a bottle handy for any kind of throat irritation (soreness, acid reflux, food reaction, cough). Didnโt care much for the citrus flavor though. Will go back to menthol next time. Just seems to be more effective.

At least its not cherry
It certainly does what it says on the package and will numb your throat in seconds. Is it nasty? Absolutely. But not as vile as the cherry flavor.

Flavor so horrendous I threw the bottle away
I don't like 'red' flavored cough/throat medicines - too much horrible cough syrup as a kid permanently spoiled cherry and berry flavors for me of any kind. So, I used to purchase the same brand's 'For Kids' version of these phenol sprays, specifically the grape ones. They had a mild, candylike flavor and little odor. They were weaker and took several sprays to do the job, because they were more watered down, with about one-third the strength of the active ingredient (kid's grape 0.5%, this citrus 1.4%). I find the taste of delrin orange cough syrup unoffensive, for example, so when they discontinued the grape spray I switched to this. These are pure hatred, distilled and bottled into chemical flavor and scent - they smell harshly, acerbic, the sort of hostile 'clean' smell you associate as a weak background of a hospital or clinic, except that this not the trace bit of vapor but pure liquid you're spraying directly into your mouth. I cannot overemphasize how terrible this scent and flavor are. I used it before a meal so that I could stand to swallow when I had extremely painful throat infection and my family complained about the taste of the food just from me using it at the dinner table, just from the amount that entered the air while my mouth was open or of the scent that I exhaled with my next breath. I would rather have a sore throat than even have anyone ever spray a single squirt of this anywhere within the same building, much less into my own mouth.
