Would probably earn 5 stars if translated into English
Product works right out of box and would get five stars, but I subtract two stars for the awful instructions. A magnifying glass is needed to read the very tiny instructions, but don't bother because whoever translated the document to English clearly does not speak the language. It's mostly gibberish and what I can make out doesn't even seem to relate to the devise I received. Fortunately, the motion sensor is mostly plug and play.I'm also subtracting a star for the dozens of unnecessary versions of a doorbell ring and doorbell tunes like happy birthday and itsy bitsy spider. (It would have been nice if they had provided a list of tunes available. I gave up after the first couple dozen.) Plus the difficulty in scrolling and setting a tune, as the device has to be plugged in, so you need to sit on the floor as you hit the inconveniently placed up and down button to scroll through the dozens of tunes.I am adding a bonus star for the several follow up emails I received from their "Happiness Officer" that were sent through Amazon, asking if I had any questions - though the email didn't provide any contact info or offer any way to reply with an actual question. One of the emails did explain how to save a tune once chosen, which was helpful. The other instructions offered in the emails were too confusing to get through.

Too much false alarms because It’s not PIR motion detector
Be aware that the motion detector is not PIR (¬passive infrared) motion detector. This motion detector is not the same as those are used with typical security systems. The technology of PIR motion detector is to detect the human (and most pets) body heat and trigger alarm. Therefore, PIR motion detector has much less false alarm. This motion detector is not PIR type, and therefore, it detects every single thing that moves such as garden plants, rose bushes, etc. by the wind. I bought this system and another system of this same brand to expand my project. I installed 1 of the 4 motion detectors facing a bush of roses (about 6ft away) to detect human crossing my alley entrance before reaching my front door. The motion detector triggered false alarms constantly when the wind blows and makes my rose tree moves. At first, I was hoping that it’s a defective one so I rotated all 4 motion detectors. They all caused the same false alarms. This causes me headache and annoying. The other 3 motion detectors installed at other locations that have nothing moving are fine. So, be aware not to install these motion detectors near or facing garden plants, shrubs or small trees that can move by wind blow.

Scary alarm. Waking me up during the night.
Alarm goes off at anytime it decides day or night even there is no one near its sensor. So annoying to keep hearing false alarmS ever few minutes. It is rather spooky at night.

Does what it supposed to and looks nice also!
This is a good motion sensor for the price. It also nice looking and you can turn it to silent mode which only flashes the light on the receiver with no sound.
