Svs Sealed Box Subwoofer Sb 1000 Pro Subwoofer Black Ash, Sb 1000Pro Blackash, Large, Bluetooth

I like the control of several parameters via software app. This gives a lot of control at your fingertips. I downloaded RAW software and bought its recommended calibrated microphone. Now I am experimenting to optimize the sound. Being a sealed subwoofer, the output is short tailed and controlled. The power is sufficient. Not fancy as the KEF's but very competitively priced.

Considering the price, it’s great. Works well in 500sqft room.

Great sub from SVS. I had it installed in a home theater with my Marantz AVR, it fills the room with great sound. Overall a good sub.

This is the most musical, tight sounding sub I've ever owned by far. I was looking for a sub to pair with my Klipsch the fives. I originally bought a speedwoofer 10s mk2 after reading all the rave reviews. I was very disappointed in the sound of the speedwoofer. Sure it got low, but couldn't get it to mix with my speakers after countless hours of adjusting and moving it all around the room. Just sounded boomy and not musical at all. I decided to give the SVS a try and oh my god, it's like night and day. Pairs insanely well with my speakers and sounds like the bass is coming out of the fives, I swear if you close your eyes you wouldn't be able to pinpoint the sub location, but believe me it's there and powerful, just blends so well with my bookshelf speakers. It honestly sounded great immediately after plugging in, but the ability to tune it from your phone from listening position is a game changer. Was able to sit on the couch and make adjustments instead of getting up, changing it, and then going back to try and see if it sounds better or worse and then repeat. Changing the phase from your couch is a must. Just slowly move the phase until it sounds like the bass is coming from your speakers, not the sub. Connects instantly and the app is perfection. As far as people saying it's not as good for movies are dead wrong. I have it in a larger 800 square foot basement and it pressurizes it and fills the room perfectly. Thought I might need a second sub, but not necessary at all. You can set multiple presets on the app for music, movies and gaming. I have my music set to pretty much how it came out the box, -10db and just adjusted the phase a little. For movies, I went into EQ and boosted the lowest frequency (20hz) with a slow roll off. This keeps music and dialog perfect but bumps up the super low frequencies that you can't hear, but feel. Explosions shake the room and makes the soundstage so much better. Almost sounds like surround sound with just 2 bookshelf speakers and the sub. The only changes I did for movies were bump volume up to -3 db and crank up the 20hz frequently in equalizer. Highest praise for this little magical sub. I havnt heard their higher end models, but can't imagine needing more, it's just that good.

I finally dropped the bomb on a sub replacement and there are no more words to say how great this sub sounds. I really wanted a sub that would work well with my tower speakers for 2 ch music as well as home theatre. My speaker respond down to 30Hz and my current sub would only go down to 32Hz. This being SVS's entry level 12" sub, it is far beyond any competition in price that hits as low as 20Hz, tight and as fast as it does. This sub immerses into your system seamlessly without drowning the room with bass. (Yes you can have bass overkill if that's you thing) The wireless app feature is easy to use and simply the ultimate for fine tuning from your favourite seat. You can save 3 pre set settings for music, theatre and custom. Using these settings in dramatic fashion will allow you to feel & hear the incredible audio from such a compact unit......Simply can't be beat.
