I’ve been using this product for several weeks on my Maltese puppy. When we adopted him, he already had some tear staining around his face, and the area along his lower eyelids often looked reddish. I initially tried wipes made specifically for tear stains, but they didn’t work well for us, so I decided to try Pretty Eyes. The improvement has been gradual, not something that happened overnight. With consistent daily use, his face has become noticeably cleaner and the new hair around his eyes is staying much lighter instead of becoming stained. The reddish appearance I used to notice around his lower eyelids is also no longer something I’m seeing. I’m very consistent with his grooming, which I think is important to mention. Every day I clean and comb the area around his eyes, and I also carefully trim the hair near his eyes when needed. At first I applied the product with a cotton pad, but I personally didn’t like that method. Now I use a small dropper to apply a few drops to the fur underneath each eye, gently work it through the stained fur, comb the area with a fine-tooth comb, and dry it with a towel. This routine has worked much better for us. I also keep his environment clean and give him filtered water, so I can’t say that this product alone is responsible for every change. What I can say is that since making Pretty Eyes part of his daily grooming routine, I’ve seen a major improvement in the appearance of his face and tear-stained fur. For us, consistency has been key. However, I was using the same routine and care regimen with wipes from another brand, and I felt they were actually causing more tearing. That’s what led me to do some research; I came across Artero Pretty Eyes in reviews and recommendations on forums, blogs, and among dog owners. I started using it several weeks ago, and I truly believe the results are evident, so I’m sticking with this brand. I can recommend it because it has worked wonders for my puppy. I use it every day—cleaning him in the morning before leaving the house and again before bed. If I’m short on time, I clean his face at least once a day; it takes no more than five minutes. It’s really worth the effort; my dog’s face looks beautiful, and he looks like a healthy, happy dog... Plus, he looks amazing in photos and videos. Our puppy has become the household favorite! ♥

When this product arrived half of the bottle leaked out onto everything else. Cleans better then any other product I've used on my Maltese. It does work as long as you apply it daily. I'm a dog groomer and will recommend this product to my clients.

This worked really well to clear out some eye-staining on my Coton de Tulear (little white long-haired dog). I was impressed. You do have to use it regularly, twice a day, until you have cleared up the problem, and also need to clean out the gook in the eye area with a flea comb at least several times a week if you want to try to keep the dog stain-free. One of my dogs who briefly had an issue is now perfectly clean and white again after about a month of use.

This product is perfect. I don't know how many of you read the file and print on your bottle no options for your dog, but some of them that say no tears. They also worn not to get near the eyes. I find that a little ironic, but this product is perfect. I even touch the product with my pinky and touch the inside of my eyelid to make sure it didn't burn before you saw my Pomeranian.

This item was recommended by my puppy’s breeder. After a few months we still have tear stains. I think it’s helping somewhat, but I wish it was more effective. I apply it with a cotton ball, and it has never caused any irritation.

I was recommended this by our groomer, and it really works. It keeps the excess tears and eye goop from oxidizing on our maltipoo's fur so his gray fur doesn't turn brown at all. Highly recommend.

Our Boston Terrier puppy has deep skin folds below the eyes and during teething he had a constant stream of tears. He does not object to having his eyes cleaned with Pretty eyes. Pretty eyes has done a good job of preventing the red stains caused by fungi/bacteria. It is important to understand that, If you your dog is already stained, the already stained hair needs to shed and have new growth while using product. Daily use of the product removes the debree and bacteria that causes the red stain, it does not "bleach" an old stain, and needs to be part of your daily pet care routine.

I am about to start my third bottle of this, although not white they did have tear staining which seems to have mainly now gone, it has taken time, some has grown out some has faded, I use it every day and it doesn't appear to irritate their eyes like some others I have used, so would recommend it.

This is definitely something worth spending money on, I have a dog with a very white coat and the tear stains are very visible but this helps so much.

Après avoir essayé plusieurs lotions de marques différentes, je trouve que celle-ci est la plus efficace. Mon chien a les poils d'une couleur beige/taupe et à cause de ses larmes, des tâches brunes s'étaient formées sous ses yeux. J'avais déjà testé plusieurs lotions dont la plupart étaient inefficaces, seule l'une d'entre elles atténuait un peu les tâches. Quelle ne fut pas ma surprise en constatant qu'avec Pretty Eyes, elles disparaissaient ! Toutefois, pour arriver à un très bon résultat, il faut l'utiliser quotidiennement. J'applique donc la lotion sur mon chien au réveil et en fin de journée. Seul bémol : des petits dépôts autour du bouchon que j'essuie avant de verser le produit, afin qu'ils ne se répandent pas sur la gaze utilisée pour nettoyer les yeux. Enfin, je suis ravie que mon toutou ait retrouvé son beau pelage !
