Does this harden or crunch up?

No, this product will not crunch up. That is a characteristic of a waterbased pomade, and this is a wax based product. This product does not contain any water or emolients, which will make it difficult to wash from your hair with just shampoo.

Does this have a stronger hold than Reuzel Pink?

Have had good days with reuzel pink but it feels messy after awhile. Secret is to use less as possible, and with a tonic to melt it in all the way. This one ain’t bad the lockhart line has a well balanced slickness to it..any slicker and it be too greasy imo. It’s a tad stiffer than their goon grease n brimstone. The hardest oil base i’ve tried is uncle franc’s heavy and og both brewed by pompking!

How's the shine and will I be able to run my fingers through my hair

Shine is low. Very thick material! My hair is thick and wavy, so it held it very well throughout the day. It does have some pull when running your fingers or comb through it.
